I used it for a photo shoot. I was impressed by the wonderful building and beautiful garden. The view of the garden from the room didn't show any apartments or buildings, and I was surprised that there was such a nice place in Kyoto. Also, the hospitality of the owner is wonderful. At the end of the shoot, we were served hot coffee. I plan to use it next month as well. Thank you for your continued support.

I used it in the second half of September. It felt rare because there were only two rooms.I was happy to be able to enjoy the uniqueness of Kyoto and take photos of the garden. The toilet and bath are located at the end of the hallway, which can be a bit of a pain, but both the bathroom and toilet are clean. At breakfast, my aunt spoke to me in a friendly manner.

I stayed here in November 2011. It's about a 5-minute walk from Tanbabashi Station. Kōmura is read as Matsumura. It is a machiya-style inn, and the building has been designated as a Kyoto City Historical Design Building. A machiya-style inn sounds like an ultra-luxury establishment, but back then it cost 6,300 yen per night including breakfast, and even now (April 2018) it's cheap at 6,800 yen. However, it is limited to 2 people, and you cannot stay alone. On top of that, there are only two rooms, so they fill up quickly. I happened to have a day off on a weekday, so I was able to make a reservation, but the reservation status was already marked △ and there was only one room available. The room looks like the photo you posted. The modern furniture is arranged in a Kyoto townhouse and it looks quite nice. It consists of two rooms: a wooden room and a tatami room. The room faces the garden. The breakfast was also good and delicious. When I heard various stories, I was told that it is run by a family. In the first place, he wanted to somehow protect the house that was protected by the grandmother who was a housemaid. I would like to stay there again if I have a chance.

The Japanese-style room is great. The modern bathroom still maintains its original appearance, which is almost impeccable. …
