At a kaiseki meal prepared with exquisite knife skills and a secluded hot springs party overlooking the splendid Totsukawa Gorge, we were treated to sulfur senpai, which is made directly from the source with a pH of 6.8 and without heating or adding water. Thank you very much.

Although the facilities are not as good as modern hotels and inns, I really liked the Showa era feel and I would like to use it again. There was electricity in the open-air bath at night, but it was pitch black outside.

Second use this yearIt's sweetfish season.Ayu full course.Every dish that comes out has a lot of effort put into it.You'll be surprised and impressed, and the taste is delicious. The bath is also wonderful. Why this bath in Nara, where there is no volcano? It's hot, but you can stay inside forever.I can only go once a year, but I'll be back next year for sweetfish season...

An inn run by the Society for Protecting Japan's Secret Hot Springs. I stayed here for the first time in 3 years. In my family, it is also known as ``Uncle and Aunt's Inn,'' but it is also the room name of family members such as Taro and Jiro. This time it was Jiro's room. The food at this inn is delicious. Although there are no high-quality ingredients, the seasoning is light and delicious, and the decorative knives are so maniacal that I will never forget them. This time I had the button hotpot, but it was so much that I couldn't finish it and I felt like I was going to burst. I think this is one of the top-class dishes even among secluded hot spring inns. The hot spring isThis is a real hot spring that is fed directly from the source and does not require water or heating. The faint sulfur odor (hydrogen sulfide odor) and aromatic sulfuric acid odor tickle the hearts of hot spring enthusiasts. I enjoyed a relaxing bath in a world where the only sound was the sound of hot spring water while looking at the stars. It's a really relaxing inn that I love.

A member inn of the Hidden Hot Springs Association located in Yusenchi Onsen in Totsukawa Onsenkyo. It looks like a guest house from the outside, but the inside is also an old inn. …

Hot spring area (Tosenji Onsen)This is the inn of the Secret Hot Springs Protection Association. There are only about 3 groups staying per day, so there aren't many spaces left.Gentle sulfur spring water flowing directly from the source ♨ Not a big indoor bathAn open-air bath with a beautiful view along the river♨The temperature of the source is around 55℃, so no one can enter. It's hot without you ♨🥵💦♨But this also feels good 😊Above all, the presentation of the mealIt was wonderful! !Lots of mountain delicacies such as cucumber decorationsThe winter wild boar meat was also delicious.Cucumbers are so artistic that it's a waste to eat them😆💛The people at the hostel were kind, and I didn't have to worry about anything. However, the Totsukawa area is far away...😳However, day trip hot spring facilities, inns, and hot springs are all good in Nara Prefecture.I didn't throw it away🥰

Although the inn is older, it is clean and the rooms are spacious. The hot springs have a slight sulfur scent, and the hot water is really the best.As others have written, the food is very satisfying in terms of decoration, taste, and quantity.

Visited while collecting stamps from the secret hot spring protection group. The inn is built so that it clings to the edge of the Totsu River. The guest rooms have a relaxing atmosphere that reminds you of going to your grandpa's house in the countryside. The hot springs are very simple; there is no washing area, and the hot spring water is drawn from the bathtub. But what about the inflow of hot springs? New hot water is constantly being poured in, and no matter how much water you draw, it will never run out. And it feels great to soak in it. In the open-air bath, you can soak in the hot springs with the highest quality of water while looking down on the Totsu River. As other people have written, the ingredients are not high-quality, but the food is delicious with wild plants, vegetables, and river fish. The appearance of the inn is a huge betrayal of the atmosphere, and we were able to spend a luxurious time there. Ta. Particularly in the winter, peony hotpot was served, and I couldn't eat it all.I think this is a place worth visiting regularly once a year to enjoy the hot springs and hot pot.
