Driving along the crystal road, I arrived at Mt. Mizugaki feeling the power. As a place to stay at the trailhead, we recommend Riesenhutte, Mt. Mizugaki. When you lie down on the ground early in the morning, the soothing radiation from the earth releases the power to boost your immune system. The inn room has a window facing the loft so that it looks like the stars are falling. The meals are plentiful with local and seasonal ingredients. The building used to be an elementary school. The location surrounding the courtyard evokes a sense of nostalgia. At night, a campfire makes the experience even more exciting. This is the base for a workshop called Liar, where people make handmade koto-like instruments used in music therapy. There are no cell phone connections, so you can have a quiet time.At the back of the mountain, there is a moss-covered walking path where you can meditate. At the inn, you can rent out cushions for outdoor meditation, so you can enjoy your time to the fullest.Nearby Masutomi-no-Yu is a low-temperature hot spring. You can gradually relieve fatigue and purify your daily life. How about recovering yourself in a place where you can talk to yourself?

As the name suggests, it is a secluded place near the Mt. Mizugaki trailhead. The road from the hot spring town is paved and not so narrow that you can't get past it, so it's not too confusing, but it's a bit of a struggle in a large car. The inn is newer than I expected, and the rooms are large and even have a loft on the second floor. There is also a mountain stream, and the river fish look delicious. Above all, the temperature of -10 degrees in the basin is wonderful. This time I stayed overnight without meals at a super cheap price, so next time I would like to ask for a meal as well.I am grateful for the plan that includes a ticket to Masutomi-no-Yu, a day-trip facility for Radium Hot Springs. Please note that this hot spring is generally open until 4:30 pm. The same goes for meals. I ate the barley toro set meal, and it was pretty good, so I decided to have it for dinner too early.

I stayed here without meals (4500 yen per person for 3 people). There is a loft in the Japanese-style room of about 8 tatami mats, and the loft has a skylight where you can see the stars. There was no toilet or bath in the room, but there were about three shared toilets, and they were very clean. The room is very clean, as well as the futon and sheets, and the room is equipped with useful things such as a pot, making it comfortable. My cell phone was out of range, but there was Wi-Fi so it wasn't a problem.[Facilities in the room]・Electric kettle・Tea leaves, teacups·Hairdryer・Disposable toothbrush·Shaving・Small towel・Nightwear (samue?)·refrigerator・Towel drying・TV, video・Free Wi-Fi

Anyway, the food is delicious! I was satisfied with the fish, various small dishes, and cooked rice. Chawanmushi is the best! We had a relaxing and quiet night.I was looking forward to seeing the stars in the sky, but unfortunately it was cloudy so I couldn't see them. The staff were also nice.I would love to see you again! I want to go. I'm going to look at the stars 😊

We stayed for one night during Silver Week in September. The room was spacious and the food was healthy and delicious.I was especially surprised that they served saury fish and chawanmushi for breakfast. The salt-grilled sweetfish for dinner was delicious. I think this is the best meal for seniors.I think it's very reasonable considering the price.I'm thinking of coming again next year.
