I was allowed to use a large room with an air conditioner in the back. Midsummer can be tough without air conditioning. You might think that many people stay there for a long time, but it seems that there are many people who leave early in the morning to go to the mountains. I put ingredients in the fridge and cooked myself three times (there is a large supermarket near the station), and I ate out once (there are many restaurants where you can eat out). The self-cooking utensils and tableware are perfect, so it must have originally been a fine inn. The staff makes barley tea every day and keeps it in the refrigerator, which is very kind. A washing machine costs 200 yen. There is a public bath a few minutes walk away, but I took a shower at the inn. (Cheap 200 yen for those over 65) The staff are very friendly and can tell you about nearby shops and events. There is one new Western-style toilet (unisex), so I would like to have another one. It's a historic building that was built over 100 years ago, so you'll probably be divided into whether you think it's quaint or old.

The quaint building was wonderful. It's a building that dates back to the Taisho era, and I get the impression that the old parts have been well preserved. It was cool enough for the time of year and I was able to sleep without an air conditioner 💤According to the staff, the renovations are going to be very difficult, and there aren't enough showers. I don't recommend thinking of it as a hotel, but I think it's a great inn for those who enjoy history! ️Would you like to see the observation space on the top floor? ? Please go up and try it.On the other hand, the toilet has been improved to a Western style, so I was able to use it with peace of mind.

Great location, just a 10-minute walk from the alpine road. Friendly staff. However, limited shared toilets and showers, and towels aren't included (despite the high price of the room!) Overall, a good stay.

This is the accommodation we stayed at after finishing the Alpine route. It was a wonderful building with 105 years of history. The owners were also very friendly. All my luggage got wet from the snow and wind the day before. They prepared heaters and drying racks for us. He also recommended nearby restaurants and even helped guide us.In the morning, he even let me drink his own coffee at the observatory and even took me on a drive to the nearby area!!I was very happy and lucky to have found this accommodation. It was an accommodation with a quiet, classic atmosphere and a warm heart. Thanks to you, our trip became warmer.Thank you so much.
