I used it to sleep in the car while salmon fishing. For 500 yen, I was able to use the water and restrooms, prepare the salmon, and throw away the garbage, which I was grateful for. This is an old-fashioned camping ground, so please prepare well and be polite and quiet. There is also a day-use hot spring nearby that you can walk to, but a light is required at night.

Closes too early in the season. Arrived in early October and they had shut down already, weather is good why close at the end of September?

Although it is called a campsite, it is a well-managed campsite. There is a day trip hot spring nearby (200m away)It's a quiet place overlooking Utoro Port, so it's recommended.

Before the accident, I used it for the night before boarding the Shiretoko sightseeing boat.Previously, I had the impression that it was a quiet campsite with deer, but at that time it was so noisy with an elderly couple in a camper playing loud music and several bikers drinking and making noise until midnight that I could hardly sleep. There was a view of the sunset nearby. There was a platform and it was part of the sightseeing course, but in the evening tourists from the mainland came on tour buses and made a fuss. There are hot spring facilities within walking distance, and there are also large hotels, so bathing is not a problem. The toilet was a bit quirky. The night dew was so bad that the tent got wet. You can throw out the trash. The manager is a very unique person. However, I was surprised at how chaotic the campsite turned out to be. I haven't used it since then, but I'm praying that it will return to a quiet campsite.

Good and quiet location. The bathrooms are prefabricated houses where you have to make a squad... a hole... not very clean... not even a plug where you can recharge. And if you ask it is X (=no). And it was raining when we were there and we didn't have a single place to take shelter. They have a huge room where they put pictures of animals but they don't let you be inside nor do they have a place where you can eat or cook or even have a coffee or read a book protected from the storm...nothing to get wet and pray that the typhoon doesn't get I'll take you the store... anyway...

A word of caution for those who are planning to use it.Be careful of foxes. They wander around looking for food for campers.Especially when leaving the tent or while sleeping at night, do not leave food, garbage, etc. in the front room of the tent. They stick their heads through the gap between the tent and the ground, steal it, and vandalize it.This is a campsite that will collect your trash, so be sure to throw it away frequently.I left the garbage bag in the front room, thinking that it would be taken out in the morning, and as I was lying down to go to bed, I heard a rustling noise around me and someone took it away. The can of mosquito coil was also pulled out and its contents scattered. that's not foodPicking up messy garbage at night is the worst. It's tough because we also have Echinococcus.Make sure to keep food in the cooler.Oh, the campsite is a wonderful place with a beautiful sunset.
