Hotel Miyako City offers an excellent accommodation experience. The rooms are not only beautifully and modernly designed, but are also always clean, which makes your stay particularly pleasant. The friendly and courteous staff make you feel welcome straight away.Another plus point is the hotel's central location, which allows optimal access to the metro. This means that many of the city's sights and important points can be reached quickly and easily.Overall, I can highly recommend the Hotel Miyako City, because there is even free coffee, tea and soft drinks in the lobby

We had a comfortable stay here for a very reasonable price. The hotel was well located close to a train station, which was only 2 stops from the Namba area. The room was small but manageable for 2 suitcases.I enjoyed the skincare packs provided in the bathroom - especially the face mask which was great for after arriving from a long flight! They also managed to check us in early (around 12 noon), which we greatly appreciated.I do wish they had provided electrical sockets on both sides of the bed though. The beside table with electrical sockets was only on one side of the bed, which was a minor inconvenience.

It's about a 5-minute walk from Sakaisuji Honmachi. The facility is very clean and I am very grateful that the bathroom and toilet are separate. Breakfast didn't have many options, but it was very delicious. However, sometimes there are overseas organizations? Please be aware that you may have to wait to enter the breakfast venue when the restaurant is open.

Stayed in a triple room. Not bad👍🏻But the room is a bit smallAdvantages: There are McDonald's, supermarkets, and many cafes nearby❤️It's also quite close to the subway station!Disadvantages: The room is small and there is a small chair. You have to move the chair to the closet to have space to spread out the two luggages, but the walking space becomes very small.

The location is very good. You can get to the subway within five minutes on foot. The service is good. I stayed there for three days and it was always clean. The room is a bit small and it would be better if it could be bigger. It will be my first choice for accommodation in Osaka again.

Smart, very well appointed hotel in Osaka about 20 minute's walk from Dotonburi and also a (decent) 30 minute walk to Osaka Castle. Well located for the subway, and convenience stores etc which are a must. …

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel in an excellent location in Osaka. It’s a 5-minute walk from the Sakaisuji-Hommachi metro station and has several restaurants in the vicinity, as well as a 24-hour “Kohyo” supermarket at the next street corner, and an even bigger “Life” supermarket a couple of blocks away. The hotel looks stylish and sophisticated, and our premium room on the 15th floor was in very good shape, tastefully furnished, and big enough for two people. The room featured a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom with a shower and a tub, and a balcony (though without furniture), which meant the window could be opened for fresh air. The windows seem very thick so there was no street noise. It’s also noteworthy that the hotel offers free soft drinks and coffee in the 2nd floor lobby area, plus machine dispensed wine and sake for 500 yen per glass. There’s also a coin laundry, and the room TV shows the availability and remaining washing time of all four machines in real time. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, though with greatly varying levels of English, ranging from fluent to barely able to communicate, which is common in Japan. There were only two slight negatives. Our key card didn’t work three times during our six-day stay and required quite extensive investigations and fixes by the front desk staff. We didn’t book breakfast but took advantage of a special offer where you get one free breakfast if you install the Miyako app on your phone, and I was glad that we didn’t book it. The breakfast was quite limited in Western options, and in my view not worth 2500 Yen. However, there were a lot of Asian options and the filter coffee was surprisingly good. There’s really no need to pay for the hotel breakfast as the supermarket sells pastries, and there’s a 24-hour coffeeshop a couple of blocks south, which offers a simple but good-quality breakfast menu at less than half the price.Overall, the hotel was great value at 19,000 Yen (about AU$200) per night, we really enjoyed our stay and will happily return in the future.
