I stayed here for one night on a trip to eastern Hokkaido in early October. I happened to be alone on this day, so I was able to hear a lot of her homecooked meals and valuable stories from her kind and talkative mother.I didn't take any photos of the food, but it's pretty much the same as what other people have mentioned, and there are several types that will fill you up. The amount is so large that I was surprised even in the morning.Best of all, it's cheap at 6,300 yen including one night and two meals.Since it is a guesthouse, it feels quite old, but as a solo male traveler there was no problem at all. Young people who have never grown up in an old house may want to avoid it.The baths are shared, but if you don't want to, there is a clean super public bath nearby, so I think there will be no problem if you use that.Lastly, it seems that reservations are almost always reserved for construction companies, so it is essential to contact us in advance.Personally, I was very satisfied 😊

The location is very good. It's right on the main street of the city. It's very close to convenience stores and Japanese hot springs. Two energetic old ladies are very talkative and interesting. They were very considerate and allowed me to put my bicycle in the entrance. The most shocking thing was that the accommodation was provided. The level of dining at the price is unimaginable and very warm.

A guesthouse located in Kiritappu, Hamanaka-cho.The parking lot is located across the street.The inn feels like a renovated private house, and the rooms have a homely atmosphere. All amenities are free and accommodation costs are low.For meals, you can enjoy delicious Hamanaka specialty products such as kelp and milk. It was fun to talk to the landlady about various things.

I couldn't take a bath in the bathtub. It looked like the hot water hadn't been replaced, and hair and other things had settled at the bottom.Maybe it's because grandma is doing it all by herself, so she can't handle it?

I stayed here for one night while touring in Hokkaido in August 2023. There is a bath at the inn, but I used the ``Yuyu'', which is about a 5-minute walk. Adults can use it for 500 yen. When I was on my way there, I saw the Hamanaka town festival going on at the Monkey Punch Collection Hall, so I enjoyed it. Dinner was served by the guest house, and I ate it while talking about various things with my grandmother. At the end, I was told, ``Please be careful while traveling,'' and it was a heartwarming trip.It was the perfect accommodation for me as I had no one to talk to. I still want to use it.

My 82-year-old mother is running the business on her own and is open to quitting at any time, but she is always cheerful and happy to talk to me about all kinds of things. Right next to the bus stop Mizutoriba entrance.
