I stayed in the new building, but the toilet was not on the same floor, which was a bit inconvenient. Yukata was rented separately for 300 yen. The communal bath is open 24 hours a day. I come in when I'm free and lock the door. There is also a shower booth. It was about a 7 minute walk from the station.

It feels like a business hotel that feels like a guesthouse.Worth the price. All the employees are kind. The room has tatami mats and futons, which you can lay out yourself.I had ordered dinner, but when I arrived at the scheduled time, it was already prepared and the sashimi was covered in plastic wrap. It feels like a boarding house. You can serve as much rice and miso soup as you like.I ordered the Hanasaki crab option, which was in season so it was delicious.Apparently you can eat it as is, but if you get tired of it, just ask the staff and they'll give you some vinegar. There is a 7-Eleven nearby and you are free to bring your own.We bought alcohol and snacks and spent the evening watching TV.By the way, there seems to be WiFi, but I couldn't access it.Nemuro in early July is cool and the weather is just right with the windows fully open. The bathroom is small and the toilet and sink are shared, which is inevitable since it's a guesthouse.

Although it is a guest house, it is more like a business hotel. I was in the new building and the room was very clean. The room has no bath, toilet, or washroom and is shared. There is one shower room and one small bath with three washing areas. Wi-Fi was at a comfortable speed.

All the employees are nice. The worst part is that there is only one bathroom, which is unisex. It's also the worst thing to see an old man wandering around the common area in his pants.

I was helped by a lovely and very friendly attendant who helped me hire an ebike to ride to Cape Nosappu. It was a pleasure to interact with him, even with me speaking little Japanese, and him speaking little English. In my experience, the people of Nemuro are lovely, and this attendant was further evidence of that.

It's a normal guesthouse.8,000 yen excluding tax for 1 night and 2 meals. Add 1,800 yen with a bowl of Hanasaki crab.It seems that the old building is equipped with Wi-Fi, but although I can get the SSID, I cannot connect to the Internet even after entering the password. Each room has a small refrigerator. There are two outlets in the room, one behind the TV and near the entrance. The ingredients for dinner are reasonably priced, but there is a gap between them and the photos on the homepage (well, it's the same at all guesthouses). The crab was also disappointing for 1,800 yen.It seems like everyone's meals are served before meal time, so it's about 30 minutes late and it's cold even when you get to the dining room. The number of side dishes was satisfactory. The stew of bamboo shoots was delicious. The bath is open 24 hours. The washing area has three faucets, and the bathtub is large enough for three adults to sit side by side. The water is hot. There is only one bathroom, and there are no gender-separated bathrooms, so you will have to wait and see when the bathrooms are open. The changing room can be locked. The road in front of the inn is fairly busy, and the 24-hour gas station diagonally across the street is constantly playing announcements about toll payments, so it's a bit noisy when the windows are open, but the windows are double-glazed and double-paned for insulation. It has double windows, so if you close the windows you won't hear any noise. There is no air conditioner or fan in the room.Even during the Obon period, the temperature in Nemuro is not that high, but the humidity makes you surprisingly sweaty. If you sweat a lot, it's a good idea to bring a portable fan.Furthermore, I didn't see the woman wearing the three-fingered kimono that greets you on the homepage, nor the stubborn-looking chef.
