This is a traditional Japanese-style inn located a few minutes walk from Naoetsu Station. The wife is kind, the breakfast is delicious, and the rooms, hallways, stairs, and plumbing are all very carefully cleaned and clean.Since the toilet, bath, and washroom are shared in the traditional way, we do not recommend this for people who are not used to this type of water system. However, the water areas have generally been renovated and are all clean. If you are okay with sharing the water facilities, this is a place you should stay at at least once.In addition, there seems to be a guardian cat, but unfortunately I was not able to meet it. I look forward to staying with you again when I go to Naoetsu.

1 minute walk from the station. It is located at the entrance of the shopping street in front of Naoetsu Station, which has a long history as a transportation hub.The name of Fukufunaya Ryokan is listed on a tourist map from the Taisho period at the Joetsu City History and Folklore Museum.First of all, the exterior gives you the feeling of being transported back in time, and even though it's your first time there, it gives you a nostalgic feeling.Once inside, the entrance of the inn gives off a retro Showa feel. The voice of the landlady who takes care of you is gentle and soothing. The guest rooms are nothing short of impressive. You can feel the depth of history, but everything is kept clean. The Showa era colors remain throughout the facility, and it's fun to look around.I had breakfast, and the side dishes and rice that made the most of the ingredients were delicious. The seasoning is exquisite. The miso in the miso soup is so delicious.I vowed to visit again.

This is a wonderful hotel in front of the station in Naoetsu, a transportation hub.Although it is a building from the Meiji era, the inside of the building has been well maintained and renovated, so it was very comfortable. I could feel the high level of hygiene awareness of everyone at the inn.You may like or dislike it because the toilet and bath are shared, but the cleanliness more than makes up for it.I stayed with a breakfast only plan, but it was very delicious and I had a second helping of rice.I was welcomed by a cat with a beetle and felt at ease.

I stayed soloThe interior has probably been renovated, and is very clean and has a brand new feel to it, unlike the retro exterior. However, because the building itself is old and made of wood, you can hear the sounds of other guests and the landlady's grandson running down the hallway even when you're in your room, so be careful if you're looking for a quiet environment or don't like the atmosphere of a guesthouse. The meals consisted of a lot of seafood caught in the Sea of Japan, and the sweet shrimp, sea bream, and firefly squid were very delicious, and the sake and white rice were delicious.Sukiyaki is also served, and the meat is creamy and very delicious. What may be difficult for some people is that there are no toilets in each room, only a shared toilet in the hallway (there is a separate women's toilet). In addition, the bathtub is made of large tiles similar to those seen in Sazae-san and Chibi Maruko-chan, and is large enough for an adult man to stretch his legs. It's a very interesting space with a mysterious space that feels like a combination of a guesthouse and a Japanese inn.Especially recommended for motorcyclistsYou can park your motorcycle at the entrance of the inn, so you don't have to worry about security or rain. (There is a reception room next to the entrance where the landlady and her family can relax)

This is an old-fashioned inn located in front of Naoetsu Station.Although the building is old, the rooms are clean.Baths and toilets are shared. The bathhouse is separated by gender and is large enough for two adults to bathe together.A cat sometimes patrols the hallways inside the inn.Maybe he's on guard duty, but he keeps his distance and watches us.Breakfast is quite simple, but the rice is all you can eat, and it was delicious with fresh Koshihikari rice.

Right in front of Naoetsu Station.Diagonally opposite Mitsui's Repark. This is a Showa era inn in front of the station. The toilet, washroom, and bath are shared. This is an old-fashioned inn.A well-cleaned Japanese-style room. The kind host will guide you to your room. When we checked out, even though it was early in the morning, the host and the landlady saw us off. This is an inn that I would like to stay at again.
