I looked at the website and ordered 7,040 yen for one night and two meals for oysters. When I entered the building, I found it surprisingly dirty and various things placed in a cluttered manner. Cats are also wandering around. Except for the kitchen, it looked like a garbage mansion. As many people have pointed out.I had diarrhea after dinner and breakfast, and I was coughing all night and couldn't sleep.

2024/08/17 Lodging.I called in the morning of the same day. I was in the middle of a bicycle camping tour and wanted to get some protection from the rain, so they kindly accepted my early check-in from 12:00. 6,600 yen per night including one meal. Dinner is a sumptuous oyster dish, atka mackerel, and Hanasaki crab. To be honest, the quality was such that I felt like I was paying for just dinner.The rooms have the feel of a Showa-era guest house and are old, so they are not clean by any means, but they maintain a sense of cleanliness. On the other hand, the toilet and bath may feel a little unclean. It was a momentary thing, so I wouldn't have thought anything of it as long as the room was kept clean. After all, it's this price.Cash payment only.

Above all, it's cheap, it's in a great location (a rare accommodation in Akkeshi), and the staff is kind.Regarding the toilet and bath, as others have written, there is a bath if you go to Kiritappu.

I used it on a family trip with my dog during Golden Week.It is true that the equipment is old, but there is Wi-Fi, scented hand soap in the hand washing area, cleaning air freshener in the toilet, and rubbing alcohol at the entrance and dining area to keep customers safe. I could feel the feeling of being welcomed.Also, most of all, I was really happy with the kind and cheerful customer service from the hostess and the other people at the inn, as well as the ridiculously sumptuous food!My only regret is that the food was so amazing that I couldn't eat it all...I definitely want to go back for revenge! !

It was used by a single woman.I read the reviews and was worried because I was alone! So I decided on a plan that included dinner in the morning.The result is exactly as the reviews say!The facilities are old and tasteful, the food is very delicious, and the people staying at the inn are very kind.Those who are nervous should not go, but for those who are fine, I think it is a very good value accommodation ^_^

This is an inn with a Showa era feel. There are no curtains or air conditioning. It's old, but it's been cleaned properly.Not recommended for women traveling together.The room only has a sink with water only. There are no amenities. Restrooms are shared, and hot water pots are located in the hallway. Hair dryers are only available in the bathroom.There is only one bath, so we recommend going as soon as it is available.I am concerned about the thin walls.There are various things such as stuffed animals and miscellaneous goods placed in the aisles, making it a cluttered place.Breakfast was delicious, including miso soup with clams.I am satisfied with the food and the warmth of the staff.

I stayed here during summer vacation.The people are kind and the food is delicious.However, there is no air conditioner in the room.When I woke up in the morning, there was a family of sika deer in the parking lot.I was able to experience something extraordinary.This is a great place to stay if you avoid the hot weather.

I called them in the middle of the day and asked for a room without meals (4,400 yen as of October 2013), and they kindly provided me with a room.I was originally traveling alone on a low budget, so I was very satisfied with the fact that I was able to get a private room of about 10 tatami mats for this price.Indeed, as other people have reviewed, the building itself is quite old, and the interior and equipment are all from the Showa era, with stuffed deer and newspapers piled up at the reception desk and in the corners of the hallway. It may be easy to imagine the feeling of an old antique store.The 2nd and 3rd floors where the rooms are are tidy, and the rooms are Japanese-style rooms with futons and TVs.Due to my personality, if I were to stay at a hotel while traveling, I would prefer an inn that had a taste and flavor unique to the area rather than a nice inn, so it was fun.Plans other than overnight stays are also relatively low priced, so I think it's reasonable considering the price.Something that others may be concerned about is:・The inn's pet cat may be found in the hallway on the first floor, so be careful if you have allergies or are sensitive to it.・Smoking is allowed at the front desk and in the rooms, so be careful if you don't like smells.・The toilet and bath are old, so be careful if you are sensitive to water.Is it about that?If you are traveling with a family or a woman, you may not be able to fully enjoy it unless you have some understanding, but if you are a man alone or someone who enjoys a little inconvenience, I think it will be fun.Personally, I give them all 5 stars, but I have objectively evaluated them based on the values of other reviews for reference.

I stayed on an inexpensive breakfast and dinner plan, but the meals were very luxurious considering the difference in price compared to staying without meals. The room is a typical old Japanese-style room with reeds, but everything else is very strict. As soon as I saw the bathroom, I didn't feel like going in, and when I opened the door to the bathroom, I was so shocked that I had to walk all the way to the convenience store. The dirty toilet seat cover and floor are all black with urine stones or black mold, and the public Japanese-style toilets from the Showa era are better. Bathrooms and toilets are important, so I would like something to be done about them.

I think even the current price setting is high considering the facilities and how dirty they are.Also, I felt bad when I heard the old man at the inn talking bad about the guests in the kitchen. I thought the cats kept at the inn were better at serving customers...

Accommodation: Just under 7,000 yenThis is a very difficult accommodation to rate. A deer strode in front of me.The food is luxurious and 5 star class considering the price. Even on the cheap plan, the raw oysters, fried oysters, and sashimi were all delicious. The stews, grilled fish, and soups were also authentic. I was surprised that they had oysters for breakfast, as well as salmon roe.On the other hand, the whole place is quite cluttered, there are very old women and cats wandering around, it's old, etc. Even if you can compromise on it, the toilet is too dirty. There was a bad smell because the toilet bowl was not completely cleaned. The toilet seat is also a problem. The futon was clean.The staff at the store are friendly so it's a relief.

This is no ordinary inn. There are piles of cardboard in the hallway on the first floor. The toilet smells, the Western-style toilet does not have a washlet, and the toilet seat is made of dirty towel fabric. The room has no fan, air conditioner, or refrigerator. The wallpaper is torn and has various stains. The bathtub is not in use and has an old plastic lid on it, making it difficult to get into it. However, both dinner and breakfast are irresistible for oyster lovers. You can enjoy the largest fried oysters and grilled oysters you've ever had. As of September 2023, the cost for one night and two meals is just under 7,000 yen, but please understand that the meal is 5,000 yen and the accommodation fee is just under 2,000 yen. Therefore, staying overnight without meals is not an option.The oysters were so large that when I asked the hostess, she said that Akkeshi oysters do not shrink even when cooked.Please don't go if you are a particularly clean person. Also, don't choose it for a commemorative trip with your wife.It was my first time trying scallop sashimi other than oysters as the texture was different. Grilled fish is not a big deal. The only seasonings are mayonnaise, tonkatsu sauce, and soy sauce.I wonder what it would be like to spend 5,000 yen and eat a course meal at a Japanese restaurant in Akkeshi. I would like to compare it once.

The exterior is fairly clean, but as soon as you step into the entrance, you'll notice that things are overflowing and scattered, the kitchen is overflowing with things, and there's a lot of unnecessary trash on the stairs and hallways, making it lack a sense of cleanliness. The wallpaper is peeling, the tatami mats are old, the screen door has been repaired with torn tape, and there are no curtains, so it's only slightly bright from the streetlights outside at night. The toilet was at the level of a cheap campsite, and the bathroom was also very dirty.It was a humid summer time, and there wasn't even a fan, so it was just a pain.Cat Inn is an inn with a cat on the first floor.As long as it's cheap, that's fine! It is a 3-story building and there is no elevator. Since oysters are a specialty, we were served four dishes using oysters, all of which were delicious and filling. The room is in the style of an old inn, and there is no toilet in the room.
