Originally a facility with a roadside station and a hot spring. The hot spring facility was damaged and unavailable due to the 2014 Nagano Prefecture Kamishiro Fault Earthquake, but it was reopened in 2016.Before the earthquake, I had been using the hot springs quite a bit since they were moderately quiet and good. My life has changed and I no longer have the opportunity to visit, but this was my first visit since reopening. I was surprised at how busy it was, probably due to the holidays! I was even more surprised to find a dog-friendly cottage and a hot spring called Hokuturuishi no Yu, which I hadn't seen before.Well, everyone has noticed how good the hot springs are here.

★2024/10/10-11I booked an 8 tatami room for a room without meals.Reservations can be made from JalanI used it as an overnight stay before climbing Mt. Tateyama.*Early morning check-out possible★RoomI wasn't expecting much, but it was a normal inn-like room with enough space for two people! The good thing was that there was an 8 tatami mat room + toilet and bath in the room, and the sink was separate. It is helpful that women have separate baths. There was also a large sink, which was convenient because I didn't have to worry about people using the toilet when I was putting on my makeup.Facilities include air conditioning, ventilation fan, small refrigerator (there was free bottled water inside), water heater, tea set, and hair dryer. It has a bit of an old inn smell, but once I turned on the ventilation fan, it didn't bother me anymore.★Hot spring (day trip users also available)Day trip until 7pmGuests can stay until 11pm,I was glad that there was a time when it was only available to hotel guests.Guests can rent some good shampoo at the front desk! Also, I was able to borrow make-up remover and face wash, which was very helpful. Also, the hair dryer was really good, so my hair became smooth! It was nice to have a sauna, 2 indoor baths, and 1 outdoor bath. It wasn't very spacious, but it was large enough to be comfortably used. However, there are only 3 hair dryers, so it can be difficult when it's crowded. The provided shampoo conditioner seemed to be lacking, so it might not be good for day use. Also, the changing room only had hand soap, so the amenities were not good.Overall, the facility was clean and stress-free. The bedding was also clean.I think it's a minimal facility to use as a day trip hot spring, but it was perfect for overnight stays and I had no complaints! For accommodation use◎For a day trip to the hot springs:If you are sleeping in your car outside, ▲ (The outside toilet is old)I think that's the kind of evaluation. The staff were also kind and polite!I will use it again when I go mountain climbing nearby.

This is the lowest level roadside station. First of all, regarding the toilet, this probably originally existed as a separate facility before it became a roadside station, and is now used as a roadside station toilet. Two Japanese style and one Western style. Of course it's not a washlet, it's a cold toilet seat. There is a hot spring facility and lodging available, but the toilets, which should be the most important thing for a proper roadside station, are very poor. Behind the parking area where you can park overnight is a store-like facility that is completely unused, but this also seems to have been abandoned for over 10 years. Without the roadside station sign, if you look at this building, you'll see nothing but a dangerous parking lot with an abandoned building.Regarding information dissemination, if the hot springs are closed, you won't be able to get a roadside station stamp. WiFi can only be used within the facility. You can't see any spectacular views from the hot spring open-air bath. It is an open-air bath surrounded by a fence. Geographically speaking, it is not a scenic place. Is the changing room small?Even if it is the management's policy to concentrate on day-trip hot springs and hotels, since they receive subsidies from taxes and call themselves a roadside station, they should enhance their original functions as a roadside station. It is a roadside station that is not suitable for overnight stays in the car. They don't sell many souvenirs either.

At this roadside station, you can't use the restrooms from 9pm until 10am the next morning, so I moved to Hakuba.

You can stay at the hot spring facility attached to the roadside station. I've been to the hot springs twice in the past, and this was my third time visiting the hot springs. Along Prefectural Route 33 in the mountains! It's definitely a place to relax. Please come. The hot springs are equipped with a large bath, sauna, and open-air bath. Weekdays from 10am - 650 yen When I came, it was reserved for private use!

You can stay overnight, stay with your pet (in a cottage), take a day trip to the hot springs, eat at a restaurant, sleep in your car, etc.The hot springs seem to be boiling water from the source. There is also a Hokutolite bath, sauna, and open-air bath. The only view from the open-air bath is the sky, but you can see stars. The day trip hot spring fee is 650 yen for adults (2024), but you can get a discount with your JAF membership card.Raw milk soft serve ice cream costs 400 yen (2024). There is also Hozuki soft serve ice cream. Please come and visit us.
