This is a new guest house opened in 2019. The owner and his wife, who used to go to a guesthouse in Yakushima, carefully considered where to open their business and decided on Toyamago.Beds and water areas are clean. The bathroom has a shower only. You can stop by and take a bath at a nearby inn. There is a charge for amenities, but they are reasonably priced, and if you bring your own, you will only pay for your stay. If you forgot your towel, there is a free gift towel with the name of a local company on it. I was in trouble because the restaurants were closed on Sunday, so they kindly shared the food with me and I was able to sit around my desk with the neighbors and enjoy dinner. Everyone will be kind to you and you will feel at ease. No wonder there are so many repeat customers. Especially if you love wine and travel savings! I recommend it (lol)

I used it as an accommodation for mountain climbing. It was a nice inn where guests were close to each other and the guests and the owner. We had a lot of drinks together with all the guests (4 people), the owner and his wife, and the neighbors (we brought our own alcohol). It was very comfortable. However, I ended up being so comfortable that I overslept the next morning and couldn't go to the mountains I had planned.

As Typhoon No. 13 was approaching, I used it for the night before climbing Mt. Hijiri. It's small, but it's beautiful and clean, which I really liked. What a master this is! ?He is from near my hometown, and we had a great time talking about the local area and mountains. His wife gave us detailed information about the weather forecast and detour around Shimoguri, and we saw her off early in the morning.thank you very much.Everyone made it to the top safely~We will also take care of you when you go to the southern part of the Southern Alps.

Used for touring. If you are someone who enjoys a once-in-a-lifetime experience that only a guest house can offer, you will enjoy it to the fullest. The dishes prepared by other guests using local vegetables were also delicious!

I used it the night before climbing Mt. Ikeguchi. The three of us stayed in a dormitory, which was beautifully renovated and separated by curtains, making it very comfortable. I really enjoyed meeting everyone at the table in the living room and having fun. There was also a chance reunion between a Ukrainian woman who was accompanying us and a woman who was with us when we completed the 100 Famous Mountains on Mt. Rishiri, and we had a great time.thank you very much.I'll send it to you again when I'm in the area.Dear owner, I'm sorry to hear that your comment disappeared after I edited the message.

This was my first time using a dormitory. My booth was separated by a curtain, and although it wasn't very large, it had a futon, space for my luggage, and an outlet, which was convenient.I cooked my own meals, but I was also able to use the microwave, refrigerator, kettle, gas stove, frying pan, pots, tableware, and seasonings. The host of Taiyo-do was wonderful and we had a fun night.
