It was a very relaxing stay that made me feel like I was at my parents' home. The food is also delicious! All-you-can-drink shochu is a service that non-natives cannot resist (^^) We also have all the amenities, so all you need is a change of clothes!If I have a chance to go to the island, I would like to use it again!

Wonderful accommodation.It's like a family home where you can be taken care of.Anything is free. You can go fishing early in the morning, you can hang out during the day, you can rent a washing machine and dry it outside, you can rent a kitchen and seasonings, and you can spend your time as if it were your own home. At the same time, meals and linens are taken care of, and there are plenty of amenities. There are more than enough towels and pajamas.Dinner and breakfast are carefully prepared and delicious. Everything is simple, gentle, and more than necessary.I am grateful and admire the hospitality of the lady who runs the restaurant.There is no TV. In the evening and early morning, we recommend taking a walk along the embankment in front of you. Let's have some shochu and go to bed quickly. Fully equipped with wifi. Fully air conditioned.

Wonderful family, meeting the staff, friendly hospitality and delicious food. This is a highly recommended accommodation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the all-you-can-drink local shochu was great.

FUJIYA HOSTEL, 172 Satomachi-ri, Satsumasendai City.①For breakfast, I especially like Yamashita Shoten's tofu gozen, and rice with soybeans! The kids ate it up right away. ② A shared space where you can drink as much sweet potato shochu as you like. ③Seafood paella for dinner🥘④Hammock outside.

This inn is an old house that has been slightly renovated. There is no TV in the room, there is a bath without a bathtub, and the washroom and toilet are shared. A typical home has only one door, so the voices of other guests and the vibrations and sounds of people walking in front of the door leak through.I can't sleep because of the free alcoholic drinks in the Dada leakage area, and I can't sleep because of the voices of other customers talking until late at night. It would be nice if there was a TV for distraction, but there was nothing in the room, just a stress-filled room.I can't even go to the toilet because I have to pass by people having fun drinking free drinks.This service is nothing but an inconvenience for people who have plans starting early in the morning. Free drinks are fine if they are in a separate building where they won't be a nuisance, but please don't have free drinks in front of you when you open the door.If it's that kind of structure, it would be nice to just rent out the whole building.However, the food was local to Koshikijima and was delicious.

The environment is comfortable and clean. In order to restore and preserve the village, a group of down-to-earth young people make use of the empty houses. I highly recommend going here to experience the friendliness of the people and the beautiful scenery.

The cost performance is too good.I am grateful that I can compare the sweet potato shochu drinks.I like the sense of distance between myself and other people.It is run by young people who are working hard, and I would like to support them.

I came to Koshikijima to cycle around the island.The high-speed boat arrives at Nagahama Port around 4:20 p.m., removes the bicycle from the bicycle bag, and heads to a hostel located near Sato Port.Google Maps said it was 34km, but the hill was over 10%, and we arrived at the hotel after dark, over 30 minutes over our original goal of 2 hours. I caused trouble to the staff. sorry.The accommodation was clean and the breakfast and customer service were satisfactory.

It's a good accommodation. The female staff is kind and the food is excellent. There was all-you-can-drink shochu. I wish I had gotten a little more. There was only a futon in the room, but that was okay.

I used it for sightseeing in Koshikijima. It has been renovated in a very modern and stylish manner, making it a comfortable stay. Free drinks include water, tea, and coffee, and even shochu is free. There are several brands of shochu, and some are best enjoyed mixed with hot water, while others can be enjoyed on the rocks, so you can enjoy it to your liking. Local beer is also available for an additional 500 yen, so I think it would be a good idea to compare it with the free Heartland beer. Regarding the bathroom, there is a shower, but no bathtub. This may be disappointing for those who want to immerse themselves in the bathtub. The breakfast and dinner meals were very delicious. Since the day we visited, the weather had become rough, and the SUP experience we had been looking forward to was canceled, and we were going sightseeing in a rental car, but it rained everywhere we went, which was a shame, but we were able to enjoy lunch at a sushi restaurant. I had some fun, including the delicious passion fruit soft serve ice cream. I would definitely like to come to the island on a nice day next time. By the way, there are two types of boats that go to the island: high-speed boats and ferries, but the high-speed boats tend to rock when the sea gets rough. I heard that some islanders choose the ferry. It seems that Koshiki lilies are blooming earlier each year, and by early August they are starting to bloom a little later. Still, the beautiful lily flowers blooming in the rain left an impression on me. It seems that pollen has been found in the strata where dinosaurs lived, so it's strange to think that dinosaurs also saw the same flowers.

The room was clean, the food was delicious, and it was very good. No TV, but that's good. You can make time to spend time in the nature of the island.We also had the fish we caught served to us for cooking. I was also happy with that kind of service. I want to use it again. Once you pass through the alley in front of the facility, the calm embankment is also nice.

From reservation to checkout, the female staff was very polite and helpful, and I was also happy with services such as being able to make miso soup with the fish I caught.Kenta's "Shimanavi" is also interesting, and I would like to stay there again when I go there again.

Now, where should we go on our next trip? As I was looking at Google Maps, still undecided on whether to go south or north, mountains or the sea, I came across Koshikijima, a place I had never heard of or paid attention to until now. ``Koshikijima...oh no, I can't read it. I wonder what it's like to read it,'' I thought to myself as I searched the map and found a nice hostel on the island. After looking at the hostel's homepage, I was convinced that it was definitely a good place. ``I want to stay at this hostel, let's go to Koshikijima!'' So I took a plane, train, and ferry from Tokyo to Koshikijima.As I was sure, it was a wonderful island and a wonderful inn.I can't write enough about the way the islanders greet each other when they pass each other on the path.The inn was so relaxing and welcoming that it made my heart ache. I still want to remember it (sickness?)I'm not the type of person who immerses myself in memories, and I'm the type of person who easily lets go of the past, but I still have the paper with the ``Recommended Places on Koshiki Island'' handwritten by a girl who worked at the hotel.After returning to Tokyo, I started ordering ``Fried Koshikijima millet'' on the menu at Jonathan (a family restaurant in Tokyo) (simple!)

This hostel is a renovated guesthouse, with a great atmosphere and clean water facilities. It's also nice to have all-you-can-drink tea and island shochu. The tofu breakfast is hearty and fresh, so we recommend eating it with salt or olive oil!

The okara salad was delicious.We also have kibinha cauda made from fresh millet!It was delicious, fun, and wonderful to eat while talking with the staff and the people staying with me.
