A hidden gem in Kii Yura. Seafood meals in particular are delicious, voluminous, and reasonably priced. If you wanted to eat the same type of food in Osaka, Kobe, or Tokyo, it would cost between 2,500 and 3,000 yen. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., so it's great that you can eat there even if you're not staying overnight. I'll come back later

We drove past here as a stop for a long trip to get some lunch. This is situated in a quiet port area and parking spots are limited. The atmosphere is warm and homely, hot team was served on a rainy spring day.The menu is all in Japanese, nothing google translate can’t fix. Waitresses speak little English and they were patient. We ordered the Koi hot pot set which is a specialty for this shop, white bait set and the sashimi set. Everything here odd fresh, given y to Jay this is also a ryokan the food is understandably good!Squid is mochi mochi and snapper sashimi is amazingly fresh. The koi is fresh and flaky, cracking a raw egg on rice is a Wakayama tradition and must be tried to once in your life. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. This is a restaurant that has 100% authenticity and definition of Japanese eatery, this is a must visit if you are in the area.

I had the sashimi set meal. The sashimi (making the shape of grunt) of the person sitting in front of me wasIt looked delicious so I ordered it.It came out not as a figure but as a fillet.I felt a little disappointed.

I had the Akamokudon lunch. It has fried whitebait, okra, and red bean sprouts on top, and is served with an egg.I don't know if it's the season or the cost of okra, but I think I used avocado before, but okra is better. The red bean paste has quite a salty taste, so it's best to adjust the amount of soy sauce little by little. The arajiru soup was also delicious, so I would like to go there again.

Revisited on Friday, April 5, 2024.It was around 12:00, but I was able to enter without any customers. The atmosphere feels like a guesthouse restaurant.I received [Akamoku somen 880 yen]. The crunchy texture of Akamoku and the original Hassaku pepper were a nice accent and it was delicious. I was full because of the amount of noodles.Visited on Sunday, March 20, 2022.I received Akamokudon (half bowl of seaweed and kettle-fried whitebait) for 880 yen.I was surprised that the whitebait in Wakayama Prefecture is so big.The shop's original hassaku pepper was on top of the akakoku, and it was really delicious. You could see the sea from inside the store, and it was a good location.

Today, I had a hotpot lunch on a lunch tour. Unfortunately this morning, I had a hot pot 🍲 to warm my cold body from ☂️.I definitely recommend the rice porridge 🥣 to finish off the meal, which was very warming.
