It was mid-July, and there was water and toilets available, so it seemed to be open as a campsite, but there was no lighting even at night! There is no electricity in the mountains, so it might be good for stargazing. But I couldn't sleep because I was worried about the brown bear. Of course, mobile phones are also out of range. On the way, a viper, probably 1 meter long, crossed the road. It is best to avoid solo use during the off-season. If you were to stay alone, there is a tatami-sized area between the multi-purpose toilet entrance door and the private room door, so you can sleep there with peace of mind. If the toilet is locked, please go home for your own safety (lol)

I decided to use it and contacted the office. At that time, I was advised to postpone it.Bears appear more frequently. Also, it was not well maintained, which made it even more difficult. It is a free place, but if you want to use it,We recommend checking the status in advance, such as at the town hall.

As of June 18, 2020, the kitchen is not functioning as a campsite because there is no running water, no toilets, and no lighting. On the way to the campsite, there was some feces of a brown fox (^_^;)

Cell phones were out of range, and there were snakes and bear feces.I don't really recommend it because you won't be able to easily contact outside parties in the event of an accident or injury.

In late September 2019, all water, including the water in the toilets, had stopped.Of course you can't use the toilet.Apparently a bear appeared in July. There's no one around, so it's a great place to take your pet out for fun, but the toilets and bears are a concern.
