I used Site A this time, and it was very spacious (it's ok for 2 cars), so there was plenty of room for a 2-room tent + a large tarp.Enough to pitch one more tent. The management was also kind and had a very good impression.Although it was early September, the temperature was just right and comfortable. It was difficult to catch bugs at this time of year, but next time I come, I would like to go during stag beetle season.I also wanted to eat the food that was sold in the administration building.

I stopped by on my journey from Hokuriku through the Tenryu River in Golden Week 2014. I came to Golden Week a year ago and thought it was a campsite where I could enjoy snow, cherry blossoms, and a sky full of stars, so I finally decided to stay there for two nights! The manager is kind and the campsite is well-maintained, as well as the toilets and kitchen, a coin laundry, and Hida's specialty offal and wild game. You can take a short walk to the nearby hot springs by crossing a small private bridge. I enjoyed the snow, cherry blossoms, and starry sky❗I would like to visit again. thank you very much.

First time camping in the snow. The site is spacious. Cheap price. (Free site: 3,000 yen per car, 1,000 yen per motorcycle)It might be good for campers who like nature. There is a charge for trash, but they will accept it so you don't have to take it home with you. This is very helpful for bike campers. If I had to pick a disappointing point, it would be the hot springs. Hirase Onsen didn't have a hot spring source, so I went to nearby Shirakawa Onsen.Second, there was no place to buy groceries nearby, and when I arrived, I was told that JA in Shirakawago was only open until 12:00.Thirdly, the nearest service station seems to be closed on weekends and holidays, so make sure you have plenty of gas before you go.Is the nearest one in front of Daily Yamazaki in Shirakawa Village?By the way, it seems that the best time to see cherry blossoms in spring is around Golden Week. Planning to visit again.
