It was my first trip to Echigo Yuzawa, and I'm really glad I chose this accommodation.I stayed in the firefly room for one night with dinner and breakfast included. It's a bit pricey, but it was still a great stay that makes me want to visit again.[Good points]・Anyway, the food was great. First-grade fresh rice was served for both dinner and breakfast, and I was impressed, thinking, ``This is what rice is like!'' I decided to travel to Niigata to enjoy delicious rice and sake, so I'm really glad I found the food at this inn. I usually only eat one bowl of rice, but it was so delicious that I ate nearly three bowls each night and morning. The decorations are seasonal as well, so you can enjoy not only the taste but also the eyes, making it very satisfying. I also like the concept of using local ingredients. The contents of each meal were carefully explained (even clearly written on the paper), and the service was impeccable. You can also take out the sweets from the cafe on the first floor and enjoy them in your room.・The room was simple and I really liked the interior design. The light in the room is warm and creates a calming atmosphere. I liked the hardness of the bed as well.・Footbath for exclusive use of the inn → It was the best soothing experience after walking a lot.・The location is perfect as it is right after you exit the station and cross the crosswalk.[Points of concern]・The public bath was a little more compact than I expected. However, since I arrived at the middle of the day, there were no other people and I was able to have the place to myself.・It's the type where you enter with a card key, but it didn't respond well and I had to tap it several times. (Maybe there is a trick)

I booked one night and two meals to relax on the first day of a three-day holiday, and since I was able to relax when I stayed there before, my husband and I decided to stay here this time to relax, but in conclusion, it was not worth the price of around 20,000 yen. I couldn't feel it.The location is a 1-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa, making it very convenient for taking the Shinkansen, and it's nice to be able to walk around the building barefoot.First of all, input on a tablet at check-in and video explanation of the inn... APA and Daiwa Roynet are much better, and the strength of inns is that they have various points of contact with customers during C/I, and it's the entrance. Well, there's a shortage of manpower, yes.The room this time was a study room, but there wasn't much light and there wasn't much space to relax, so I didn't feel like reading a book...The bed was just the right hardness, though. I took a bath in the large bath on the top floor, which was a little relaxing and felt good (however, it said that I could use it until 10:00 the next day, but when I went there at 8:30 the next day, I only had a shower).Well, now let's cook. I had high expectations for the seasonal cuisine using local ingredients from Niigata, but the food was elaborate and delicious, but the timing was slow...Even though I was enjoying the food, the restaurant's pace was slow. It's no good to put it out there. The atmosphere is kind of like a family restaurant with a bit of a cozy atmosphere. The same goes for breakfast; if you can't just serve the side dishes first, but if rice is the selling point, serve it first. Also, the staff is in training and is having a hard time explaining things, and I can feel their nervousness...If they are in training, their mentors should follow up closely, I feel sorry for them. Above all, I am careful about this.Considering the cost performance, I won't be visiting again. I hope it's still there after 3 years

I used it for an overnight stay on a weekday. It's the most compact room, only 8 tatami mats, but it felt much larger.plus・Great location, close to the station as well as convenience stores and restaurants・The price of the private open-air bath is cheaper compared to others.・The front desk feels very nice, I feel relieved.minus・Room key is difficult to use, card keyIt's okay if you get used to it though・People who don't like this may not be able to use the facility because you will have to walk barefoot on the tatami floor.・The public bath is small・It is not suitable for bringing children, as the inn has a calm atmosphere, so please refrain from visiting if possible. As a general reviewIt's a really good inn. This is the best part about hotels and inns. The woman at the front desk wearing glasses is kind and has a soothing smile.

I haven't stayed here yet, but I always drink coffee at the cafe on the first floor. They seem to be selling coffee brewed with hot spring water, but I always wonder, ``How is it different from regular water?'' ' ꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ*) lol. I don't think it's particularly good coffee though.

It was a historic inn made entirely of wood! ️We visit graves several times every few years!? ️This time we happened to visit this place. I usually use Nakaya, Futaba, and Otani.

I was traumatized by being treated like a part-time worker with no motivation. Since then, I have only used the restaurant. The first two times I stayed there, I didn't have any particular problems and I gave it a 5 star rating, including the location and food. On my third stay, I was generally treated very politely, but there were some people whose tone and attitude were a bit off-putting. Maybe it was just bad luck, but I think it's better to be prepared for the possibility that there is a few percent chance that you will receive poor customer service after paying a not-so-cheap amount of 30,000 to 50,000 yen. I will. It's more of a shock than I expected.
