Absolutely loved my stay here! First time visiting Japan after 5 years and was a bit nervous based on previous reviews, but I think those people may have booked a three star expecting five star amenities.The location is super close to trains and the Yamamote line, making getting around easy. It is close to the red light district of course, but you’ll find the same thing in Akihabara or Shinjuku. Plenty of great food places close by with lawsons and family mart too.The staff were incredible! So helpful and attentive, and they always did their best to ensure we were taken care of. K.Go was a superstar with helping me get our luggage sent to the next hotel, and he was so patient and respectful. Could not have asked for better help! K.Sasaki checked us in when we first arrived and he was also very patient and kind, making sure he took the time to explain our room numbers and where we’d be located.The rooms are of course small, but this is expected when you book a business hotel. Plenty of storage space under the bed for luggage and lots of amenities in the bathroom! Combs, tooth brushes and toothpaste, razors ETC.Had such a brilliant stay here I will definitely be back! Thank you so much to the staff, you’re all fantastic.

We recently stayed at this hotel with a great location, just a short walk from the train station. While the amenities were limited compared to other hotels in the same area at a similar price, the friendly and helpful male staff truly made a difference during our visit. They went above and beyond to assist us, especially during a medical issue we encountered. Overall, a good stay with excellent service.

There was nothing special about the location and customer service.Has your room been cleaned? It was so dirty.There were scraps of sweets, hairpins, bow ties, and other items on the floor that seemed to belong to previous customers.The bed was soft and comfortable, butThe sheets are full of hair loss, as if they haven't been changed.(I have black hair and my hair was brown)I also got a rash on my feet.I was like, what the heck?I think it's a good hotel except for the cleanliness!It would be helpful if you could rent a hair iron.

I was in an area where a strong message from the Ikebukuro Police Department saying, "Stop touts!" was being played over loudspeakers in the afternoon, but I wasn't a man being touted by foreign women or someone looking for a host. Even if I wandered around late at night, I was ignored and there was no danger.The target people before and after seemed difficult.I have to walk while avoiding the vomit.When I tried to head to my room after checking in for a second on the membership app, I couldn't figure out if there was an apartment or not, but I couldn't find the elevator.Meanwhile, from the front desk"It's a campaign sweet."was given asthank youTo all the celebritiesEven if I can quickly check in for one secondThe front desk is well managed lolThe air conditioner was working well during the day.At night, "outside air mutual automatic adjustment" is performed,The temperature was lukewarm and only the ventilation was needed.I had to sleep in a place with lukewarm humidity and temperature.I woke up many times in the middle of the night because of the high humidity, and it was hard to sleep.This hotel is probably for people who are used to traveling and enjoy night spots.Room refrigerator didn't workThe staff were kind.The surrounding area was a hot pot and Chinese food heaven!

When I stayed there, I lost two items of clothing that had been left there during cleaning, and when I contacted the front desk, one item was returned to me, but it was given to me in a mysteriously wet state, as if it had been in the trash can.

I have never seen an APA hotel that is so low and fraudulent.I am posting this because it is too unbelievable for a hotel.I have never been told anything like this at other APA hotels or other hotels (regardless of whether they are cheap or expensive), and even when I have stayed here quite a few times recently, I don't think they have the self-awareness, pride, or skills of being a hotelier.Since I had to shorten my stay due to work and paid by credit card, I was told that I would be refunded for one day, so I returned home. Then, a while later, they called me and told me that they couldn't process the refund due to an error, so they told me that my card limit was limited, and that I should call my credit card company.First of all, it has nothing to do with not having enough space to process the refund. Then, APA Hotel started saying something unreasonable, such as not being able to process a refund without paying the amount already paid, and when I asked them why they didn't mention that, they didn't give me a clear answer.If we can't process the refund, we'll refund it in cash, but we don't do that.Then, if you pay the amount you paid this time again the next time you stay, a full refund will be processed.Do I need to repay the money I already paid? I was told that I would not be refunded if I did not stay the night, and that I would not be refunded unless I paid the same amount as I had already paid when I stayed again.It's a complete scam. The person who called me the person in charge and told me that it was my fault, told me that this is how it is at our house, so I took it to mean that the APA hotel company itself was doing something similar to fraud.What I say changes over and over again.I explained it to the person in charge of the APA Hotel management, not you, and asked them to call me, but the same person called again and something like this happened.When I stayed there so far, most of the hotel staff were too slow to process computers on their own.We plan to report any fraud-like behavior to various authorities, including the police.I used to use this hotel often, but I can't trust hotels like this and the company itself makes it so small and expensive, so I won't use it again.Everyone please be careful.Addition: Even though I had already paid in full before my stay, I was told that a refund could not be processed, and when I checked, an additional amount had been deducted.

The bathtub in the room was a little smaller than other hotels.Also, when I returned after leaving something behind, I found that the contents of the item had been tampered with.It was not there and I had to investigate various things, and the cleaning staff had moved it for their own personal reasons. However, I heard that there is no rule at the hotel to move items left behind for personal reasons. This is the first time I've ever seen a customer's luggage being tampered with without permission, including food being left on the side, and I felt extremely uncomfortable in the end. I will never use it again. ⭐️=0, of course. To put it harshly, this behavior is "theft"...Please be careful if you use it 🙇♀️

When I have something to do in Tokyo, I use APA Hotel.This is my first time using the Ikebukuro North Exit store.Since it's an older hotel, it can't be helped that it deteriorates over time, so I wasn't too concerned about that.I usually borrow feather pillows, but when I called, the only thing the front desk staff would do was bring them to my room, but this time, for the first time, I was told, ``Please come to the front desk to pick them up.'' I was a little surprised. Did. Is it related to location? There are times when the howls of drunk people, the yelling of Chinese people, and the sound of engines from nearby parking lots can be harsh. Why not reconsider your soundproofing measures?The gap in accommodation rates between peak season and low season is huge.Ramen for breakfast?The response of the customer who was nerdy after checking in for a second seemed to be disrespectful.

I used it for work. It's very convenient as it's right next to Ikebukuro Station.I guess it can't be helped since it's in the city, but there aren't many elevators, so the traffic jams are terrible.
