This was a pod hotel, meaning you get a large coffin-sized space all to yourself to sleep in, and then communal bathroom and living spaces. …

Good: This place is one of the best capsule hotels I have seen, really silent at night, great lounge area, you can leave your luggage before checking in, everything clean and it looks very modern.Bad: A sadly not so perfect location. Still would recommend this place 10/10 times.

Good capsule hotel experience - would recommend trying it at least once in Japan. The Ninja / Geisha theming is mostly just to appeal to foreigners I think, when you actually stay here it's no different than any other capsule hotel and there isn't really any theming to be seen. The facilities as expected of a capsule hotel are all really nice - the shower and bathrooms in particular. The capsule itself is what you would expect from any capsule hotel - comfortable and roomy enough.Took off half a star as when I was having a shower I left my locker key hanging on a hook in the shower room (my fault). When I realised I missed it 15 minutes later and went back it was already gone and the staff made me pay something like 5,000 yen for a replacement key. The staff member kept running off ahead down multiple flights of stairs to investigate, and kept me locked out in the hallway since I didn't have a key. Another half star off due to advertising misleading a Ninja / Geisha theme.Otherwise, the prices are reasonable for what you want in a capsule hotel and the bed and facilities were all good. Worth a stay if you're in the area and want to try the capsule experience.
