I would think this is the must stay place for this leg of the Iseji. Much more interesting than staying in Kawazoe. The food is capacious and delicious, the room is well basically an entire apartment with self contained shower (and a wonderful bath), kitchen, washing machine lounge and sleeping area. Aircon and WiFi ofc. The hosts are genuinely interesting, involved in impressive international human rights advocacy actions as well as entrepreneurial endeavours

Amazing experience! It was very fun to stay in a smaller town in Japan, the hosts are so friendly! It felt as if I was staying with family! They drove us around the town and to a local shrine and different areas to experience the local area. The sukiyaki beef dinner was amazing and very tasty, extremely fresh ingredients and the delicious rice cooked in the traditional way with a kamado! We were able to pick fresh vegetables and mushrooms, it was the tastiest onions I've ever eaten. This was the highlight of my trip!

We stayed for one night while walking the Iseji. Sego and his wife are wonderful hosts. They are so welcoming and friendly. It can be difficult to travel in Japan without speaking Japanese, but they manage the language barrier well. We feel so comfortable and cared for.The facility is very nice. And the food is exceptional. For dinner, we feasted on Matsusaka beef sukiyaki. The vegetables and delicious rice were grown on the farm.We are here now, and do not want to leave!

I stayed here on my first night of the Iseji route of the Kumano Kodo — I had the whole annex to myself which was very spacious, with it's own bathroom, laundry facilities and kitchen.Massive amounts of delicious food were served for dinner and breakfast the next day, plus I was packed off with onigiri for the trail. It's a little way off the trail but they kindly gave me lift back to Kawazoe the next morning and stopped to show me an old abandoned pilgrims' ryokan there which I would otherwise have missed.Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The other day, I stayed for one night while visiting Ise Shrine, and it was a great atmosphere, like I was casually gathering at a close friend's house. It has several large rooms and is recommended for large families and small groups who like the quiet countryside ^_^The landlady was kind and very knowledgeable, and we had a lot of fun talking about all sorts of interesting things. Thanks to her, I have fond memories ^_^If I have a chance, I would like to visit you again ^_^
