It's already backwards that you can only pay with a card if you spend more than €50 - that's a bad joke. Good wellness area.

I stayed at the Hotel Sonnenblick with a group of motorcyclists for 6 days to my complete satisfaction.I would particularly like to emphasize that I don't want any food with alcohol because I am an alcoholic.When I asked, the friendly waitress told me every day which dishes had alcohol in them.I rarely experience something like this, so my special thanks to the hotel and the attentive staff!Klaus Berger

We arrived with two motorcycles and nothing was left to be desired.Friendly welcome at reception, very clean rooms, extremely tasty food, great tour tips from the boss and friendly staff in the restaurant.We can only recommend the house and would be happy to come back here.J.+S. from Z

I was positively surprised, nice single room with a balcony facing the forest, great food, very friendly service and great tours through the Rhön on the recommendation of the hotel. We were there 4 nights.

The hotel is ideal for bikers, but it is located on a somewhat busy road not far from the train tracks. We had booked half board, breakfast and dinner were both very good and plentiful. The rooms are tidy and clean, although a little older 😀 There is also a wellness area that looks pretty new

Rooms clean, large, bright and friendly. As is usually the case with a windowless bathroom and that was the only drawback. Inadequate ventilation led to a subtle smell of mold, which disappeared if the ventilation linked to the light was left running for an unreasonable amount of time. Breakfast \ half board according to the standard. Staff friendly but sometimes overwhelmed as the hotel was at full capacity. Staff shortages are normal these days. Overall: positive.

Bikers are in great hands here! The four of us were there for 4 full days and felt very comfortable. Rooms, food and friendliness were top. The selection of planned tours through the mountains and forests of Hesse, Thuringia and Bavaria is enormous. As a service, the desired tours are played on the navigation system by the boss every evening. In the morning you just sit on it, drive off and enjoy. Although we have been going to the Alps every summer for 15 years, this time we didn't miss anything in terms of corners.

2 stars because of the beautiful wellness area and good food. What doesn't work at all is the noise. Hotel is located right on a busy street where the noise doesn't stop even at night. Sleeping with the window open is not an option, nor is using the balcony. Room had the charm of the 90s, but was too expensive for what was offered.The friendliness of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. A “warm welcome” or “have you had a good trip” would have been nice. The difference is even more serious if you come from Bavaria or Austria.We can definitely not recommend the house.
