Located right next to the motorway, so if it's an overnight stay to get on, it's perfect. Spacious and cozy hotel, clean and nice. The host is a nice older man as we saw. Breakfast at the top for the price.

Functional and solid.Rooms are simply furnished, clean and well maintained.Breakfast has a solid selection and decent quality.Location is of course great for a stopover. You can get here from the motorway in 1-2 minutes and you can't hear the motorway very much.Rooms are quite noisy.Overall, a good option if you want to spend the night in transit.

We were stranded at this location due to a breakdown and the ADAC organized 2 double rooms for us in the evening without any problems. These were clean and perfectly fine, there were even 2 bottles of water available! We were very satisfied, even if the rooms were actually quite noisy. The breakfast was delicious and there was enough choice. We were even allowed to take a plate into the room for our little one because she was sick and not hungry enough. After one night, we were also allowed to stay in our rooms until the afternoon without any problems and at no additional cost, because only then was it clear whether we would have to go home with a rental car or whether our car could perhaps be repaired after 1-2 days, because we still had it 4 hours drive ahead of us. When it was clear that it was something bigger, we checked out without any problems at around 1:30 p.m., even outside reception hours. We were always treated very friendly and, above all, understandingly, including by the owner! It's a shame that the weather was so bad, because it would have been a great little playground for our 3-year-old in front of the house.

Everything you want and need from a roadside hotel. very close to the highway, but you can not hear it. Clean, great facilities, great service, fair price. Breakfast was really good too!

In 2022 we were “stranded” in Knüllwald with a car breakdown.When it turned out that there was a repair in the workshopwas no longer to be expected (on a Saturday at 10 p.m.!),A place to stay overnight had to be found- the “Hotel Linden” opposite was the obvious choice.Despite the late hour, a room was hastily prepared for us - a beautiful, spacious room in the annex building.After a really long, very hot and very stressful day, we were very kindly served drinks that we urgently needed on the hotel terrace!We would like to thank Mr. Linden and his team for their extraordinary, committed hospitality - it was an island of friendliness in the midst of the chaos of the breakdown!Uwe Lösekann,Bremen.(Sorry we didn't rate in a timely manner... because of oneThen another breakdown with the rental car and the followingUnfortunately we got away with arguments with ADAC...)

Perfect hotel if you are passing through. Located on the A7. We arrived at 10:15 PM and received a more than warm welcome from the owner. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and a great breakfast. We would love to come again next time.

Papa Linden is so sweet, talkative and nice. The beds are great and the hotel is close to the motorway without being noisy. Nice place.

So I can't understand the bad reviews. Maybe dog owners, as I was for decades, are sensitive.Otherwise you can only report the best and the breakfast is simply sensational. As Angela M. would say “keep it up”

Perfectly located, a good stopover for us on the way home from Scandinavia. Rooms were great, delicious breakfast, great employees and nice boss, what more could you want. We felt very comfortable. Always happy.

Just don't enter the hotel with a dog! We were greeted extremely rudely by the operator during a phone call about lunch, they weren't bothered by our presence and even before we said hello they barked at us that the dog was unwanted and should be out immediately ( The problem actually weighs 2 kg) Only then did we receive a greeting and we were offered an overnight stay without the dog, which should ultimately sleep in the car. Fortunately, I have never encountered such behavior from a hotelier and there are other hotels too.

For years we have chosen the Hotel Linden as a stopover on our journey to Wangerooge and back. We feel incredibly comfortable with Mr. Linde. The rooms are very harmoniously furnished, the service is excellent, and the price-performance ratio is right. We can only warmly recommend the hotel and will always be happy to come back.
