I have a holiday home nearby. So I've been coming there for 15 years. Even my parents have been coming there for a while. The same unfriendly, overweight lady has been serving for 15 years. She barks at you and treats you unfriendly, but we still keep coming because the most compelling guy is a friendly guy and we like to eat and drink at the local establishments. The unfriendly lady, her name is Sabine, is really a bad apple in the business. I think she has had a very unpleasant life, but we have always taken it for granted. Tonight was more than enough for me. We entered (there were already signs at the entrance that it was a so-called 'G2 zone', and instead of being greeted friendly (good evening, what can I do for you, for example), we were immediately barked at: SIND SIE GE1MPFT?!?!?! To which my answer was: no, but it had been extensively tested, Sabine. We were told that we had to sit in the back and keep our (nonsensical and non-working) face masks on all the time If you have to deal with the same crude armored tank, you will also have to deal with this. Werner Steuber: I will never come to you again. I will also tell all my tenants to avoid you, and I would like to say to that armored tank of a Sabine: I can I hope that one day you can find a good diet so that you can perhaps discover some happiness in your life. What a terrible hostess you are and I hope you read this. See you never again at Landgasthof Steuber! !!👋🏻

Extremely remote and unfortunately hardly any TV or internet but a great thing to switch off for a while. Service is great, totally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very manageable but tasty. Gladly again. Price performance ok

***** Excellent stay at the Landgasthof Steuber *****I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful stay at Landgasthof Steuber and can highly recommend this place.From the start I felt warmly welcome. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and they did their best to ensure my stay was extremely pleasant. The atmosphere in the inn is cozy and welcoming, and I immediately felt at home.The rooms were spotlessly clean. The comfort was first class and I had a very restful night. The breakfast was rich and tasty, and I was really impressed by the selection of regional specialties. The homemade apple and grape juice were particularly delicious!The location of the inn is also noteworthy. Surrounded by picturesque countryside, the Landgasthof Steuber offers an ideal setting for relaxation and recreation. The opportunity to engage in outdoor activities and explore the beauty of the surrounding area provides another highlight of a stay.All in all, I can fully recommend the Landgasthof Steuber. The staff, accommodation, breakfast and location were all great. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat to unwind, then this is the place for you. A nice Lamdgasthof, very nice staff, friendly, rich and very good breakfast. Quiet location ideal for hikers, cyclists and people who appreciate nature. With or without children or with a dog are welcome. We'd love to come back.

I stayed here for a week to enjoy a short vacation.This is also possible here, as the small town in which the guesthouse is located is remote (no noise from many vehicles or crowded streets).There are beautiful hiking trails on site. There is also a small lake nearby.Even if you drive out a bit, you can find what you're looking for almost everywhere and, thanks to the proximity to the larger district towns of Frankenberg and Winterberg, you also have plenty of places to stop for refreshments. An ideal travel destination for hikers, cyclists and motorcyclists.Now to the guesthouse: This is a family business run by the owner and his daughter. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. It starts with breakfast, which is, by the way, very extensive.Here the guests are really taken care of.Dinner is also offered upon reservation. Although I didn't use this service, I think it's also very good.The room and bathroom are very clean and you have everything you need.If you want to vacation on the border with the Hochsauerlandkreis, you will definitely get your money's worth here. Incidentally, these are comparatively small. This means there is an excellent price-performance ratio.If I stay overnight nearby again, I will book a room there again without thinking twice.

A beautifully located hotel in nature. We were there in January 2023 and there was a lot of snow that weekend. Fantastic. The service is very friendly, open and helpful. We also booked half board and the food (Vienna schnitzel with fries and salad) was well priced and made a difference. The selection at breakfast (fresh rolls, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, juices) is good for the small hotel. The rooms are a bit old. But it's ok for the location and Winterberg can be reached in a good 20 minutes by car.
