Disastrous hotel! On Schmidtstrasse in FFM.Where do I begin?The room is old, run down and stuffy. There were leftover food from the previous hotel guest on my window sill that the staff hadn't removed! €15 per vehicle/night must be paid. Unfortunately, more parking spaces are being sold than are available! Had to pay €60 in advance and couldn't even park in the parking lot because everything was full! We had to look for a parking space in an alley. When the staff asked for more parking spaces, they only shrugged their shoulders and didn't offer any solution.Furthermore, it was 33 degrees outside. Air conditioning in the room broken. Refrigerator broken. Lighting in the hotel room broken.After the first night, completely bitten by mosquitoes because there were no fly screens on the windows, I contacted the reception. There I was just brushed off with the statement: "We don't have replacement refrigerators, the air conditioning is broken, we know that and the defective lighting is being repaired." No solution to the heat problem in the room. No fan or fan available.My request for a replacement room was rejected because the hotel was full.After my day at work, in the evening before I went to the room I asked again whether there were any free rooms. Again nothing. However, at least the light was repaired, I was assured.When we got to the room, the light was of course not repaired and the temperature in the room was even warmer than outside 31 degrees+.After another terrible night, I went back to reception in the morning and complained. There I was told that the spare parts for the air conditioning had been ordered and that I could get a few ice cubes to replace the refrigerator. The defective light is checked again.Again I asked for a replacement room. Again the statement “everything is full”. Despite the status as a hotel chain, there was no suggestion to move me to another hotel, nothing! I have never experienced such unfriendly service!I then called my company and described the situation. After my company called reception there were suddenly free rooms. A wonder. I moved from room 33 to room 35 and lo and behold, the fridge works, the light works but the air conditioning is also broken. Room temperature 30 degrees+ again.Back down to reception and complain again. They responded quickly and I was moved from room 35 to room 629.This room was modern and everything worked, even the air conditioning!So at least I was able to sleep reasonably well the last two nights.However, this whole procedure and the stubbornness of the staff has ensured that I will never book a stay in this or any of the Trip Inn hotels again.

Had a good short stay at this hotel. The room is neat, clean, and quiet.

Let's start with the good things. The reception guys were super stars. The rooms were clean. A bit tired, but clean. Missed a refrigerator in the room, but that may be because it's pretty much standard in the US but the reception guys took care of my colling needs. It's super close to the airport and there is a filling station on the way to the airport.The restaurant next door is ok, the guys there were super helpful too, but I really wasn't in the mood for the food they offer, but that's on me. What I had was fresh and good for a normal price.The location is a little odd, people can be ridiculously ignorant and loud way past midnight having conversations in front of your room. I little bit more variety on the food menu?If I will be back in Frankfurt I possible will choose them again.

For the money, excellent service. Stayed one night on the way from Switzerland to Belarus, everything was great. Good breakfasts, secure parking for an additional fee.

We found ourselves in this hotel after a 12 hour Lufthansa delay.I think it only goes ahead because of the agreements with the airlines, because the buffet restaurant is truly terrible, third world-like. Small rooms, cleanliness is not their strong point.24 hour reception service.Close enough to the center and the airport.Luckily we didn't pay...

Booked in this hotel by Lufthansa because my flight was cancelled. Very clean, meals are decent, good to stay one night, towels, shower gel provided, however no toothpaste.

Room totally okay. Staff nice. Breakfast is not worth it. Less than basic.

Room very small.But at least there is a restaurant that is open and also has draft beer
