Despite the location, the hotel is really good! The room was really great, the one we had 114!, was really comfortable, the bed was absolutely great, the furnishings were modern and new (our impression!), the bathroom - perfect! 100% thumbs up! Reception - very nice young man, helpful and extremely competent, provided us with plenty of information! Young lady also very nice and accommodating! Breakfast - great and enough of everything! Coffee is simply great! Lampertheim as a city - nothing great - proximity to Mannheim perfect and ÖNVP - fits very well! We say to the Taste Hotel - thank you! It was really good!

We booked the hotel for one night for a celebration in Worms.The first impression wasn't that great because the carpet in the rooms was pretty dirty.(According to the notice, the hotel will be renovated, but already since June 2023)The rooms were visually more appealing and were probably renovated, but they weren't 100% clean either.Breakfast was like this, not a lot of choice but it was ok.Ultimately, I have to say that the overnight stay in a double room with breakfast was really cheap and of course you can't expect a 5 star hotel for little money.For the price I would probably book it again for one night.

It's been a long time since I've had such a bland breakfast as the one at the Taste Smart Hotel Lampertheim. The dishes were dirty, the eggs were cold, the juice machine was broken, the rolls were hard, and when I reached into the basket with the apples I had a rotten apple in my hand. Pooh! I lost my appetite every morning. Savings were made wherever possible, only the cheapest of everything, there was only one type of jam, no selection of muesli, and there was nothing for vegans. Breakfast time from 7:30 to 9:00... unfortunately sleeping in wasn't an option either.The rest of the hotel was just as modest as the breakfast. The elevator was broken and you had to drag your luggage up the stairwell. The room numbers were written on adhesive tape with Sharpie and pasted on the room doors. Our room door didn't close properly and kept opening on its own (!!!). There was a constant smell of cigarette smoke throughout the building.The hotel is squeezed between a huge street and the main parking lot. So it's always quite loud.I'm probably not the first person to suggest you change the name to "Bad Taste Hotel"? Then the guests could better prepare themselves for what to expect.I can only advise everyone to choose another hotel.

The room was OK as it was newly renovated but there were stains on the wall. The bathroom was really dirty, there was hair in the shower, the mirror was full of St. Nicholas' house, there were black stains on the door and the shower drain was really dirty on the side. Although we informed us, the bathroom was not cleaned, which we complained about. At breakfast there is water and juice, which I find really sad because the price for the overnight stay is really expensive for such a situation.

Good hotel. Breakfast was also very good. Room nice. The only thing that wasn't good is that there is very little vacuuming in the rooms and there is dust everywhere in the house.

Update: It has been repaired and it is now in acceptable condition. Terrible! First impression: Why is my room door open when I enter my room for the first time? 3min Later: Ah because there was smoking in the bathroom in my non-smoking room. Absolutely disgusting! Towels smell like stale cigarette smoke 🤢Overall cleanliness is not great and should be guaranteed even in a cheap hotel!

It was clear to the gentleman at reception that he really enjoys his work. Thank you very much for that!The room was great!Breakfast, plenty of choice.Parking, there is a free parking garage, where else is that available?Thank you again for that too.If we are nearby, I would book this hotel again at any time!

This hotel is conveniently located, providing free underground (secured) parking and comfortable rooms. It's a perfect location to stay at during a road-trip.The hotel was undergoing renovation at the time of visit, but this wasn't a problem. They warned us about this before we arrived, and if they hadn't we probably wouldn't have noticed. Aside from a very faint fresh-paint smell, we wouldn't have noticed otherwise.Likely owing to this renovation, there are some aspects about the hotel that feel a little old-fashioned and out of date, but as the hotel is undergoing a renovation it's expected these attributes won't be around much longer.

The rooms are newly renovated, but the homepage doesn't mention that all the corridors in the hotel are still very bad! look.Badly dirty carpet, all paneling and trim torn off, etc. p.p.When I asked why this wasn't communicated in advance, the answer was that we weren't being bothered by construction noise at the moment 😂Simply cheeky and clearly too expensive in this condition

We knew the hotel under the old management, now we were here for the first time under the new owner. We came for one night. The hotel is very centrally located and is very easy to reach. There are bakers and discounters in the immediate vicinity. There are also dining options in 5-10 minutes. According to the notice, the hotel is under renovation. We got free parking right in front of the house. Check-in was possible without any problems, even without staff. An elevator made it easier to climb to the 2nd floor. The room was modern and friendly furnished, unfortunately there was an unpleasant smell in the room, possibly due to renovation, which we couldn't define. In the bathroom, the shower dispenser was in the shower because the double-sided adhesive tape didn't hold. The hallway on the 2nd floor looked worn on the floor and walls; in some cases preparatory work for renovation was already visible due to the lack of wallpaper and carpets. The room was very noisy, you could hear every voice from the hallway. The breakfast was plentiful and absolutely sufficient. The breakfast room is also very worn on the floor, walls and furniture. The staff was friendly and attentive. Check-out was problem-free. The price with CB discount was very good!

Nice hotel. Have been here many times with 1 and 2 dogs. Very nice and nice breakfast.Update April 2024Hotel is probably currently being renovated. Door handle broken. Room not clean. Garbage, dust use toilet. Half the hotel is open. Unfortunately, the price has also increased by 50% since then. That was probably the last time I was here.
