We (a motorcycle group) were accommodated for 3 nights for the second time in 2024. We were allowed to store our motorcycles in a garage.I was accommodated in a comfort plus double room. It was very spacious and had everything you need. The mattress is nice and firm. Two pillows (large + small). A couch, an armchair and a desk. TV + WiFi anyway. Water + tea. Closet safe. Everything is there to make your stay pleasant.The house is nested because other areas are built next to the actual main building (half-timbered). You may have to walk a long way through a few corridors to the reception and dining room.The service was great. Very nice, attentive waitresses. The food was freshly prepared and very, very tasty. Nothing was missing at breakfast either. We felt super comfortable during both stays.This location is wonderful for motorcycle tours: Hessian Switzerland, Rhön, Knüllwald are practically on the doorstep.

An absolute insider tip, wonderful service all around, the food is a real dream, I have never eaten a better roast wild boar - incredibly great taste without any frills, super attentive service staff in the restaurant! Reception extremely friendly! Breakfastwith regional sausages,delicious eggs- class! We'll definitely be back! Thank you 👌👍👍👍

Highly recommended for an overnight stay. Unfortunately the room was very cold because there wasn't enough time to reach an appropriate temperature. Otherwise everything was good

Restaurant was "bum" full... service left absolutely nothing to be desired... very friendly... fast... courteous. The game was brilliant and the Wiener Schnitzel was just as you would imagine!! Absolute recommendation and gladly again.

The Landgasthof Hess is huge in our opinion, but you only find out when you take a closer look. Unfortunately, the solemnity of the staff isn't any less than that! The food is also wonderful. And finally a hazelnut liqueur! ;-) We also had a large, practical and beautiful room. Gladly again!

Rating: 4/5 starsA very cozy country inn with excellent cuisine. The prices are reasonable and not excessive. I had a spacious double room that I used alone, with an entrance area, cloakroom and a well-kept shower room. The only small disadvantage is the soundproofness of the building, but this is more than made up for by the exceptionally varied breakfast buffet - it leaves nothing to be desired! Getting there by car is easy.

I was just at the I.G.T. seminar weekend. e.V. there. My single room was spacious and clean, quietly located at the back and equipped with everything modern and necessary.The staff was always friendly and accommodating. Thank you.Located close to the A7, the hotel is easy to reach. There are enough parking spaces available. The building is a bit convoluted and the routes to the room are quite long.We used two seminar rooms and had the adjacent winter garden to ourselves. This was very pleasant for our group.

Very good location for an overnight break on long journeys. The restaurant was great. Delicious food, very nice service. The breakfast was very good and also with nice service. Room 123 was quiet and cozy. I have to criticize the cleanliness of the bathroom. There were a few things that were borderline.

We ate in the hotel restaurant - tasty food (recommendation: pike perch with excellent vegetables, fried potatoes and the veal schnitzel was also very tasty) - huge portions - extremely friendly service! - absolute recommendation! (we can't say anything about the hotel as we were only in the restaurant.
