I stayed there for three nights. Tiny bathroom with a strong smell of humidity, remains of hair in the shower trap. No trash can in the toilet/bathroom, I had to collect the one that was on the terrace. The water flow in the shower and sink is very poor and once you have showered you then wade through the water if you want to go to the toilet. The room does not have air conditioning but has a ceiling fan and another on a stand. I left both running constantly to reduce the smell of humidity because the walls were so soaked with water otherwise it was unbreathable. I also had to block the gap under the front door because it was so big that all the insects got through. To summarize, the room seriously lacks maintenance! Cleaning is not done daily, I even found a plastic bag and a cake wrapper under the bed. The switches and siphons are black with dirt... I was nervous at the thought of touching anything in this room. The only positive point of this accommodation is its location as it is in the center of Ubud and its pretty garden as it is in an old temple. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this establishment, except possibly for one night for small budgets.

The room was pretty and the bed was comfortable and the grounds were stunning. Location was also great. I would only stay here for 1 night. It’s cheap accommodation so I understand it wasn’t going to be amazing but we have stayed in other budget home stays and received better service. I don’t often give low reviews as we’re not high maintenance, however, we have stayed in 18 places on our travels and this one was definitely the strangest. The check in was very confusing and we weren’t greeted. The bathroom was dirty. There was hair in the drain, some kind of goop on the floor in the bedroom, ants in the bed. There were holes in the bathroom walls and a large space under the front door which allowed insects in. We also saw mice on the grounds so we were worried a mouse would enter our room. Upon checkout we were overcharged until we pulled up our booking. We also received just half a roll of toilet paper for our 4 days and had to go look for more ourselves. Towels also weren’t changed in the 4 days and we didn’t receive any soap or bathroom products.

Location in the center of Ubud, 500 meters from the art market. We booked a room through booking, there is no air conditioning in our room, it is soapy, the window is 40x50 centimeters without a mosquito net, there is nothing to breathe in the room if you do not open the window, someone lives between the ceiling and the roof, there is no noise insulation, everything is very audible.
