Rahayu House Ubud

My stay at Rahayu Hanoman Ubud was overall pleasant, but there were some aspects that could be improved.Positive aspects include the clean room and the equally clean pool, which was large enough to swim in. The bathroom was also generally okay, although it seemed a bit dated. Unfortunately, the upper shower head was so heavily calcified that the water sprayed uncontrollably in all directions and did not guarantee use. The air conditioning, on the other hand, worked perfectly and ensured pleasant temperatures in the room. I didn't use the room service.The breakfast was good quality, but the portions were a bit small. You were only allowed to choose one dish per person, accompanied by a small plate of fruit. Since I was alone but paying for two people, one morning I insisted on ordering two dishes because I just couldn't get enough. This wish was kindly granted.Another criticism was the fan in the room, which was visibly covered in years of dust, so I didn't use it. Another shortcoming was the lack of a minibar or refrigerator to keep drinks or snacks that you brought with you cool. What was particularly annoying for me was the lack of soundproofing in the room. There were no solid windows above the windows, only mosquito nets. This meant that I could clearly hear the roosters in the morning and the conversations of other guests outside in the evening/night. For someone who values ​​a peaceful night's sleep, this was rather unpleasant.I would generally like to emphasize the friendliness of the employees as a positive thing, but there were also a few negative experiences here. When I arrived, I asked if someone could call me a taxi using the GoJek app since I didn't have my own cell phone. The employee assured me it wasn't a problem. But when I actually needed a taxi, I was only helped by an employee running onto the street and hailing a scooter. I could have done that myself, and I deliberately didn't want a scooter taxi because I've had bad experiences with such means of transport. Unfortunately, it seemed like the employee didn't have the GoJek app and couldn't download it, which I couldn't understand, especially since I was prepared to pay in cash. A friendly local ended up helping me on the street, which only added to the disappointment with the hotel service.Another weak point was that there was no printer in the hotel. I had important documents that I needed to print out, but the employee said that wasn't possible. I think a printer should actually be standard in a property like this. What was even more disappointing was that she couldn't give me a tip as to where I could print out nearby. Again I was forced to search on my own until a tattoo studio nearby was kind enough to help me.In summary, my stay at the Rahayu Hanoman Ubud was pleasant overall, but the criticisms mentioned, particularly the lack of service and comfort in certain areas, greatly tarnished my impression.

Considering the price, the best hotel we have been to so far in Bali. Pool open until 7:00 p.m., quiet, well located to go to the most interesting places in Ubud, good breakfast and they sell Bitang beers and water at a good price, cheaper than in any cafe/bar/restaurant in the area.The only negative point I could say is that the first time it is a little difficult to find the entrance, since it is very small, but after crossing it the site opens up to a much larger space.

The location is very Central. everything is within walking distance for Central Ubud.The rooms and the bathroom are very big and very clean.They have a very nice pool and the people on the reception desk are very nice.They serve breakfast as well.

Good location! The room is fine for the price. Bathroom is really outdated and not clean.

“still ok, but reasonable for the price!”its full of forest vibe, checked in at night around 10pm+ & very dark, funny door knob/lock lol for the durian room?haha although this ain't the room I booked tho...er hmmm, the 1 I booked got 2 beds but I got this room with 1 bed instead, its king size so still ok.., sink dirty..even got insects coming out from the hole after opening the water tap? aircon got noise, we checked in quite late & oso very early to check out for mt batur jeep tour so we look like ghost lol plus the host/owner couldn't trace/check back my booking record lol, saw big snail 🫨 so watch ur step ! the room lighting oso quite deem

The hotel was nice, bathrooms are old but usable. The breakfast is okay and the swimming pool is amazing. We had, however, a cockroach in our bathroom that was not removed by the hotel staff. Overall a good stay but not great.

The whole generation of the family is in the first part of the plot, so that's great for me because they are great hosts. The rooms are spacious and tidy. The staff are smiling as are the owners. I recommend this accommodation

Perfect place and great host. Most recommended. The host can improve by adding kitchen or kettle for hot water and improve leakage issues in bathroom and increase cleanliness. But it is workable and a great place for the price. I will definitely be there next time if I am fortunate enough.

I loved my stay in this beautiful accommodation.- The room is very clean and matches the photos perfectly.- The area is peaceful, it is ideal for sleeping properly.- There is a supermarket and many shops nearby.- The family who lives there is adorable.- The wifi works perfectly and there is a very comfortable coworking space in which I was able to work for hours.- The hosts are responsive and always ready to help.- Even the cat is adorable.If I come back to Ubud I'll stay there for sure !Thanks for everything !
