Overall, we were very satisfied, both with the facility and the staff. In the evening at the bar the television program that was playing there annoyed us, but it was switched off immediately at our request. And the flickering of the pin base lights also stops when the defective ones are replaced. Because then the transformer has its base load again and lets everything light up quietly. We were also particularly impressed by your mattresses, pillows and your bathroom.

We stayed in the house for 3 days as we were visiting family. We will definitely not be returning to this house again:The service in the house is a disaster!Things get chaotic at breakfast:- Tables are not cleared and re-set- Cold cuts, rolls etc. will only be added upon request- Dishes and glasses are in short supply- the obviously young staff is absolutely overwhelmed- the SPA area doesn't deserve the name in any way (cold, uncomfortable, steam sauna broken, whirlpool broken, various jets in the pool available but broken)- the room is not really clean, everything in the bathroom is full of limescale, cobwebs etc...- When the house is full, the parking situation is badAs a positive we can mention the dinner on the first evening, which was indeed delicious.However, that was it.As already written, we won't be coming back.It's a shame because it's a 4-star superior hotel.The stars are from the time it opened (2004), but things have obviously only gone downhill since then and there have apparently been no more investments.

Nice hotel. Great wellness area. Service and food (we had half board) was very good. Only the beds could be more comfortable. Unfortunately we had a room facing the street so we could only sleep with the window closed. Nevertheless we would come back.

Unfortunately the hotel is getting old!Small innovations could make a difference here.Of course, like everywhere else, there is a lack of staff, which is unfortunately noticeable everywhere here!Cluttered, uncleared counter areas, breakfast tables and outdoor areas. There is a grill here, there are old pots and old, rotten flower decorations, absolutely not 4 stars!There are bubble jets in the swimming pool that no longer work, you could have simply taken them down and then it wouldn't have been noticed and that would be fine!

Great hotel.In our case it was about 20€ more expensive than the youth hostel at our next stop (bike tour) With a great breakfast, delicious three-course menu (around 30€ additional)Sauna, spa, indoor pool, top location, clean rooms...I can only recommend 👍🏻

The hotel is getting old, the rooms have not been cleaned well and the air in the basement is borderline poor as there is no good ventilation or air conditioning. We won't come back. Breakfast went like this.

Unfortunately we can only assess the telephone service. We booked a room with a cot about 3 months ago. During the phone call I said what it would be like if the child was sick and we couldn't go, they said no problem, cancelable until 6pm on the day of arrival.Now came the challenge of the journey (800 km) and we had to turn back after about 200 km because the little one was feeling bad from then on.After I contacted the hotel straight away and asked what the goodwill for cancellation was, I was immediately cut off and it said 80%. I couldn't really explain anything. Also what was discussed over the phone. Unfortunately, I hadn't read this again since it said something different... there's a word to be said, unfortunately it's not a pity.... unfortunately in this case there is no cancellation of the trip. We were actually looking forward to a nice weekend in the Lahn Valley... we will definitely take the trip again soon, but we will choose a different hotel with more indulgence. Sorry, would have liked to get to know the hotel.

Unfortunately deceived by many beautiful pictures...The hotel is on a very busy street. Every night until around 2 a.m. someone was running their motorcycle. With a noise level that exceeds all imaginable limits.The houses opposite and to the left of the hotel are mainly used as apartments for refugees and are very noisy.Breakfast was very good, everything you needed was there.We have a room on the city side about 24 square meters. booked. Unfortunately we got a room about 18 m under the roof. Super hot and small. We received a table fan upon request, but it didn't help. When it's around 30 degrees inside...After two days of asking, we got another room that matched the size we had booked.The sauna was quite good, pool a bit worn out.All in all, a good hotel in a currently bad location.Next time we will book another hotel

We stayed at the Hotel Lahnschleife with our travel group. Good location near the old town. The rooms were clean. The employees in the restaurant and at the reception were polite, courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied and good, as was the evening meal. Our tour group was completely satisfied.

Rooms directly above the outdoor restaurant area. Very noisy until midnight. Since there was no air conditioning, we had to sleep in high temperatures. It's a shame, the breakfast buffet was very good.

The room is a bit old, but OK. The location of the hotel in the immediate vicinity of the Lahn cycle path is nice, but it was a bit noisy at night.However, the service is poor, which leads to the rating being only one star. We had a lot of trouble paying for our room with some very different bills.
