I think this place is good at affordable prices with breakfast and authentic Balinese coffee, we stayed 2 nights, the service was very friendly. Even though the location is slightly tucked into an alley, it is very strategic for places to eat and public facilities. Good luck to the good owner. Sorry I didn't have time to take a photo.

I stayed 3 nights here. I think it’s a very nice place the bed very comfortable, room is spotless. Breakfast is excellent with crêpes and fruits. Before I came I read the lady’s comment, personally i didn’t have any issue with the noise nor weird old man.

Extremely noisy homestay. You share this homestay with at least 10 family members who are always coming and going and create a lot of noise by shouting at each other rather than talking at a normal volume. Not a very relaxing environment for a vacation. The family start shouting at each other around 6am and they show no consideration for not yelling near the guest rooms, so dont expect a lie in! No regard for guests. There is one particularly digusting older man who hurls his spit and phlegm constantly and loudly with no shame, really vomit inducing. We made a game of it once where we counted how many times he did it and we got to over 30 times in less than 10 minutes so we got bored and stopped counting, we'd proven our point.

Creepy owner.I rented a scooter during my stay at this homestay. I left the homestay at 4am to start my trip and found the owner lurking outside my room at 4am, waiting for me. He then stalked me around the homestay as I got ready to leave. As a solo female traveller, this is the sort of male behaviour we come to expect but do not appreciate, and is really unsettling/threatening. If this was the only occurence of creepy behaviour then maybe it could just be coincidence, but on another occasion, another older male relative of the family (who live in the homestay) came into my room as I was getting out of the shower and was still in just my towel. He opened the door to my room, walked in and I had to scream and slam the door in his face and lock it. Really crazy, disturbing behaviour. Solo women avoid please.

Constant construction noise starting at 7am everyday (stayed July 2023).I was meant to stay for a month but I left early due to noisy building work that is currently happening at this homestay. They are in the process of constructing 2 new buildings right next to the current guest rooms. The banging starts every morning at 7am (or sometimes earlier!) and continues throughout the day with builders coming and going. Not a very relaxing environment for a holiday at all and no chance of a lie in. When i left at the end of July 2023 they had only just laid the foundations for the new buildings so I would guess that construction noise will remain a problem for guests until at least October 2023.

Best place to stay in Ubud! The owner is nicest person you will meet, he made us a different breakfast each morning we were there. He was also very helpful and offered a booking service for all the activities in the area and arranged our transport to our next location. The room was extremely comfortable and clean with additional complementary tea and coffee. As a bonus they also had a very cute and friendly little dog.

Stayed here for 3 nights - gusti the owner and his family are all very kind people and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Also arranged private drivers for us at a fair price. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was always great and changed daily and shower had hot water with good pressure. It gets quite hot in the room as there is no aircon, bathroom is small and no windows makes it hard to air the room out. Great location, just a 5 min walk from Ubud attractions. Really decent stay for the price we paid!
