A nice family hotel. With friendly staff. The room is a bit dated, but everything you need is there. Breakfast was well prepared and everything was fresh. We will definitely come back again. 🌻

When we first booked, we didn't reach anyone on the phone for days. When I arrived at 6:30 p.m. my room had already been allocated because I had arrived too late. When I booked the second time, I was completely forgotten - no one could be found on site and couldn't be reached by phone. I will never stay here again!

The restaurant offers space for many guests with its large rooms. The ambience is rustic and simple, but the menu offers everything your heart desires. The food is simple according to the atmosphere, but tasty and available at fair prices. The service is friendly and quick. Not necessarily suitable for a candlelight dinner but definitely suitable for a fun evening together.There are also some parking spaces available off the busy main road. There is also a bus stop opposite if you want to leave your car.

I was booked in for one night. That's really enough for me. Rooms can only be reached via narrow, steep stairs. The room was extremely old-fashioned, had a strange smell and the heating thermostat was broken. Shower soap and hairdryer in the bathroom are not available. Remains of the previous one could still be seen in the toilet. Breakfast nil. Guys, focus on the restaurant, hotel is not your thing.

Last weekend I stayed at the Hotel “Zur Sonne” for one night.In addition to the hotel, there is also a restaurant. Which is probably very well attended. The parking situation found is difficult. Not enough parking spaces for restaurant and hotel guests. There are probably still a few options on the main street. We had booked a double room including breakfast through a friend who was celebrating her birthday in the neighborhood.The path to the room led past the toilets, the kitchen, first down into the "basement" and then via the stairwell to the first floor. Arrived.The room initially makes a tidy, 1970s impression. It was very cold in the room. So first turn up the heating. When I looked into the bathroom without a window but with a fan, I found a somewhat more modern style. The “skid mark” I found in the toilet was disgusting. Cleaning is probably only superficial. When you shower, it takes a long time for warm water to come out. Unfortunately the water pressure leaves a lot to be desired. I also tried to change the shower from a rather weak stream of water, but this was not possible. Despite all the weaknesses, I would still like to report something nice. The room has roller shutters, which block out street noise and light well.We didn't get the breakfast we ordered. None has been ordered. I couldn't imagine that. Service looks different.So make it clear again when you check in that you would like breakfast.
