Never experienced this hospitality before, really very extraordinary. Both dinner and breakfast were really loving and super good. Cooked and bought breakfast especially for us. Price for dinner and breakfast was super fair.Rooms are older but serve their purpose (beware of mosquitoes!!!!)

I stayed here with my tent on my bike trip along the Fulda. The boss was very nice and made me a great dinner with delicious regional drinks. We also had a good breakfast the next day. Thank you for the hospitality! I'll definitely come back. Greetings from the Harz.

Dirty rooms, bedding not changed in the apartment for a long time, mice everywhere in the rooms and in the kitchen. The atmosphere is nice at first and then changes with further stay. Entering rooms and moving things without knowledge or consent.

The farm itself could be an absolute gem and an insider tip.The insider tip comes now! Hands off !1300 euros rent for a hall / barn that is totally filthy, you first have to sweep mice and cat excrement from all corners etc., shabby chic style with tons of cobwebs all over you.Toilet not very pleasant!The catering crew wanted to clean the dishes they had brought with them on site, which had been discussed in advance.Scullery with several industrial dishwashers available, but not usable because machines are dirty, full of verdigris and rotten dishes.It is not clearly stated in advance how much the rent is for the day... that will be offset against the drinks!The rude awakening came with the bill.... Drink costs were as high as the rent of the barn. There is no list of individual positions!Don't be blinded by pictures that are very old!Look closely!

Our last overnight stay before we returned home after a three-week camper holiday. Truly the icing on the cake. Late in the season and Anne, the sweetest hostess ever, let us stay with the camper on the Hofgut site instead of the camping field. It had rained heavily and we only stayed one night. She was allowed to shower upstairs and tap electricity from the shed. Thank you dear Anne, we would love to visit you again. The area is also beautiful for a nice walking or cycling trip.

We were here for the second time and will come back again. A loving and very generous hostess. The prices are also low for the amount of work that goes into this yard. The farm offers many loving, charming corners and is well maintained, even if not perfect, because people live here. Everything is hosted and maintained by very few people who let all visitors participate in everything and always give more than is expected.We cannot rate the rooms. We always went camping on the meadow.Here you come home to the people who really live here and are very hospitable, which is why they share everything.

Hofgut Rimbach is highly recommended for active people (cyclists, paddlers, etc.). The location to the Fulda cycle path and the paddleable Fulda river is ideal for a stop. There is also a meadow prepared for this purpose for camping. If you wish, you can also have catering provided. We really enjoyed the friendly welcome at the farm and will remember the special atmosphere for a long time, especially Mrs. Lässig's friendly manner.Olga and Alexander from Berlin, on the occasion of our bike tour Konstanz - Berlin.

We, two water hikers, stayed overnight with Anneliese and Max. Showers, a place to sleep on the hard floor (old hayloft). Eating in the evening and filling up with a large portion of scrambled eggs in the morning, plus a lunch package for the trip..Thank you for the overnight stay and the warm hospitality.. An old farm which now rents out apartments (long-term tenants) and single rooms for tourists and mechanics. The farm is well preserved and the owner (over 70) puts everything into maintaining it and runs the place herself, apart from helping with the rooms. There is a so-called knight's hall where you can get a great and rich breakfast, and you can also have dinner there after registering.As a water hiker, the owner, even though she was fully booked, still managed to prepare an emergency room due to the heavy rain. The fact that I had a large dog with me wasn't a problem at all.Directly between the farm and the canoe pier (less than a 2 minute walk) there is a great community barbecue area which you can use to rest and grill if it is not booked. I'll upload some pictures so you can best get an idea.Conclusion: simple but clean and interesting accommodation with good food and an extremely warm and helpful owner.
