Amazing place to stay in Ubud.The location is great, close to restaurants, laundry, money exchange, and the main road. But it is located in a small alley very quiet and perfect to relax and sleep quietly.The host family is awesome! Very friendly and helpful.Rooms, bathrooms and common area are extremely clean. Towel and blankets smell good.Very good breakfast (included)Couldn’t recommend more.(Very affordable too)

The owners were so nice and the breakfast pancakes were awesome! They even helped me to get a good and cheap transfer to Nusa Lembongan. Although there was only one dorm with 6 beds, it was very easy to start a conversation with other people from the dorm and some of them I even saw in other locations along my trip

This hostel is in a perfect location as it's very close to the main road but tugged away in a small side street so it's very calm and a good getaway from the busy traffic. It's only one room so it's not a big social hostel but it's easy to connect with the people in your room. Everything is super clean and well looked after. The shower is great with good water pressure and all beds have curtains. There is an AC in the room and lockers for everyone. The breakfast is really yummy and varies between banana pancake and omelette. You can book different tours and transport at a good price. The highlight is probably the very kind and lovely family who runs this place. They are very helpful and really make you feel welcome. Terimakasih!

I recommend it 100%. The host, Aju, makes you feel part of the family and helps you with everything. The place is very quiet despite being in the center. And it is only a room for a maximum of 6 people with two bathrooms and lockers, so there is not much inconvenience in sharing. You can leave the scooter inside. There is a laundry nearby, restaurants, the "why not" pub with live music,...

The place is run by a couple. A portion of their home is converted into a hostel. They are friendly and homely. All the key destinations are in walking distance and I felt home away from home.

I’ve stayed here for 5 nights and it was the best Hostel where I’ve stayed so far! The Hostel is small but so it feels much more like a home stay, where you can get to know everyone.The breakfast every morning was delicious and made fresh every day even with fruits like banana or dragon fruit.I would love to come back to Ubud just to stay at this lovely hostel.

I loved this hostel! It’s my favourite hostel I’ve stayed so far! We arrived and the hosts are so friendly, helpful and nice :) they know so many things to do in ubud and you can book activities with them and get a discount! I had a crash with a motorbike and they helped me immediately and were always there for me! The breakfast was amazing - perfect start in the day🥰 Beds were comfortable, everything was so clean and shower was good! Would definitely stay here again!! Thank you

We spent a really lovely week here earlier in the year. It's a small family orientated hostel, which created a sweet, intimate environment. Everyone was extremely friendly and the family provided great breakfasts and any relevant information about their town and culture!The location was also perfect and we would recommend staying here to anyone coming to Ubud.

This was one of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. If you like to end your night with drinks frequently, I wouldn't recommend staying here. This is a peaceful place on a quiet side street (an alley off of Jl. Bisma, which is already one of the quieter "main roads" in Ubud) with a quietly social vibe. There is just one 6-bed dorm with a bathroom inside and a small seating area outside, where I had great conversations with someone different every night. The family is also genuinely wonderful. I chatted with the wife for about an hour and a half about various cultural and political topics in Bali and Indonesia, and she shared some really interesting insights. Plus, because it's a small hostel, they really remember the details of each guest, whether it's knowing exactly how you take your breakfast or putting out fruit they know you like.Only a few small notes for possible improvement:- Maybe more hooks/shelves in the bathroom? Because there were only two colors of towels for rent, it was very hard to keep track of whose towel was whose.- The curtains on each bed are a bit loud, so if you get in late or need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it could definitely wake people up. I wonder if perhaps they could be made quieter somehow.Overall, though, an amazing place. I recommend it to people who are looking for a good place to meet people in a quieter environment.

It's beautiful. The family that runs it are very nice people and it felt like home. 😀2023I stayed here again for the first time in 4 years.As always, the family and staff were kind and welcoming. I would like to stay here again if I come back to Ubud.

If you really want to be guided kindly on your first trip to Ubud this is the place, Aju is very pleased to help you and in this hostel you can have a bit of the authenticity of Balinese people. This small hostel guarantees you to have peace and the owners are super super helpful. In addition the breakfast has fruits and eggs and not just pancakes with coffee like other hostels, and you can have your water refill for free. Totally recommend

Best hostel I’ve stayed at on my entire south east backing trip. The hosts and the staff is just amazing, goes beyond to make the trip awesome. Clean room, bed, toilet and in general entire area. If you’re in Ubud do not worry about booking a few extra nights here!! It’s definitely worth it.

Ayu was amazing with us and helped us with everything we needed. Being in this Hostel was like feeling at home. The location is very good and it has air conditioning. At night the room is really dark and silent. I highly recommend it

Review from local Indonesia here! My decision to stay here for 2 nights was the very right decision! This hostel is managed by a very warm family. Ayu, Dewa, and the entire Jero family at Bisma are really friendly, caring, and very kind. The breakfast is always delicious, the rooms are comfortable and always cleaned every day. Ayu and Dewa even helped me to get Mount Batur sunrise trekking services at a very affordable price. You can also order all kinds of tours and services here, such as tours to Nusa Penida, and motorbike rental. Even though it is in the center of Ubud city, this hostel is very quiet. Here I made new good friends. Truly a hostel that exceeds all expectations. 10 stars for Jero di Bisma ❤️

If I could rate this place 6 stars, I would! Having travelled SE Asia for 5 months, this is one of the best hostels so far. Hot shower, great AC, really comfortable beds, good breakfast and all at a super affordable price.
The host is 10/10 and will help you with anything you want.
