Absolute recommendation! Very clean and well-maintained hotel with great parks and sports facilities. The staff was super friendly and the food was very good both in the restaurant and at breakfast (also lactose-free and vegan options). Also easily accessible from the motorway and charging stations available - I would stay here again at any time if I am nearby.

It's a nice old hotel. The food is excellent and the staff friendly. The only thing that needs to be reconsidered is the metal ramp between the hotel and the sports school. Even if you walk slowly down the ramp, it is very loud. Yes, it is practical for the cleaners and their carts. But a piece of building protection mat or anti-slip mat would be ideal. This doesn't cost the earth and is a solution for crossing the ramp quietly! This saves everyone trouble.

Very nice, courteous staff. Delicious breakfast and delicious buffet for lunch and evening. The rooms very clean. Unfortunately a little warm in summer. Beautiful outdoor facilities. Parking spaces free of charge. Ideal for seminars and further training.

I was here for a two-day training course. Reception staff very unfriendly and ignorant. Unfortunately the hotel was unable to make the booking for nine people, we were moved to another "hotel" where they weren't even able to give us the address right away. The buffet selection was very poor, every bed and breakfast would have offered more choice. There was 1 bottle of mineral water and 1 bottle of apple spritzer available for a table for 8 course participants. The replacement hotel that was supposedly provided turned out to be a training center with too few parking spaces, no reception, no Wi-Fi despite having to laboriously ask for a password in the pub, which then didn't work, no television and an unhygienic shower curtain including bed bugs that had bitten me all over my body. The whole thing as a replacement for a 4-star hotel! I know the Sporthotel from 2000 to 2004, when everything was great. Never ever.

The sports hotel is wonderfully embedded in nature on the Jakobsberg in Grünberg. Surrounded by tall trees, the four sports fields and two sports halls are well integrated into the extensive grounds. Accommodations for teams and hotel guests fit in just as well. The sports hotel is also known because you can organize family celebrations and conferences here.

The comfort double room 208, booked for two nights, very spacious, with a balcony (albeit continuous for all rooms on the side of the floor), the bathroom with tub and separate shower bright and clean. …

This review refers only to the restaurant. The sports hotel is located opposite Grünberg - very quiet, surrounded by greenery, between forest and field, is a bit older (built at the end of the 50s - you shouldn't be confused by the outside), but has been beautifully renovated inside .We were greeted warmly in the restaurant and were given a table without having reserved beforehand (if the temperatures are pleasant you can also sit on the terrace).First, a "greeting from the kitchen" was served, consisting of three different, very tasty types of bread and two different side dishes, such as bacon cakes and spread. My wife took the pumpkin cream soup with wontons/cream foam and the chanterelles with napkin dumplings and salad with a fantastic dressing, I got three types of prepared fish filletsMashed potatoes lightly refined with wasabi. In addition, there were the most crunchy vegetables of the season on my plate (there could have been 2 or 3 more cocktail cherries - they were breathtakingly delicious!). It should also be mentioned that all the dishes came out of the kitchen beautifully prepared. The menu is clear but exquisite and surprises with changing (seasonal) offers. The service is very attentive, friendly and helpful. In terms of price, we found the dishes a bit expensive, but here you eat at a star level - and then in retrospect you become convinced that it was worth it!If you're looking for something special (pure enjoyment), you've come to the right place. We felt very comfortable and ate excellently.Regardless of whether it is a large family celebration, a romantic meal or a conference meal (hotel) - the restaurant can adapt to your expectations with a wide range.A brunch is also offered here on Sundays, which is certainly highly recommended. And the sanitary facilities were clean and the washbasin inviting. We will definitely come back more often to further explore the range of delights on offer.-----We did it again. We were there for Christmas brunch on the 4th of Advent.Aaaand, there's nothing to complain about.🤩At most, Google Maps doesn't allow an extra star as a rating! 😒It was nice that there was even an extra room open for brunchers. Also worth highlighting is the 'spaciousness' between the tables, i.e. you would have had enough space to roll your wheelchair to the last free table. And the range of pleasures alone was worth the 'entrance fee'.I'm not going to report on everything that was on offer, but you should just make yourself comfortable and take advantage of what's on offer on such dates.Or, you can simply give away a pleasure voucher to lovely do-gooders.Dear restaurant team from the Sporthotel Grünberg, you did everything very well in your usual manner. We really enjoyed it!Thank you very much ❤️ for everything presented! We'll be back again! And, Horst Hrubesch was also with you.----Yes, it took a long time, unfortunately due to illness, but we enjoyed the Sunday brunch again between the years.Unchanged, everything as already known, same level of crunch, same attention from the staff. And that means: full marks. 5 stars!----Well, we were here again and would like to come here more often, but somewhat handicapped by a new illness, we had to wait for recovery. So, it was "prodigious" as the British bon vivant likes to say.The Easter brunch with rich hours d'oevres of the light kind (I have not yet enjoyed the poached egg as presented👌).But what am I saying here?Make a reservation, drive there yourself, get seated, and enjoy! As always, the service was very attentive and everything was very tasty. But, as always, there is too much to try everything out.But when you visit, don't forget the 'serving spirits' who are worth receiving your donation.I repeat myself! In all categories: full marks!!
