At the beginning of August 2024 we organized a small motorcycle meeting with participants from half of Germany. The guesthouse is very conveniently located for motorcycle tours, we headed towards Thuringia, Sauerland and Kassel Mountains, all of which are great and winding routes.All participants really enjoyed it there, the motorcycles were safely stored in the garage, the room and breakfast were great and, as the icing on the cake, we had the finest buffet prepared every evening. Awesome.Arrival beer was always possible and the supply of cold drinks was guaranteed. Unfortunately, the time passed far too quickly and when the big departure took place on Sunday after breakfast, everyone agreed that we had chosen the right accommodation with Pension Selzer. Many thanks to the Selzer couple for the wonderful time, the good food and the constant supply of cold drinks.

We have just spent a long weekend at the Pension Selzer with a group of motorcyclists. Very friendly and warm welcome in the accommodation - we felt like we were being welcomed into the family from the first moment. We were allowed to park our motorcycles in the garage for free - it was really great. Breakfast and dinner were extremely rich and very tasty - there was something for everyone. The rooms are lovingly furnished, everything is very clean and decorated with lots of love. Service and support were absolutely perfect until late in the evening. Thank you very much for the really great days - we would really like to come back.

The three of us were invited for a birthday 2 weeks ago and for 2 nights in the beautiful Pension Selzer. We were warmly and lovingly welcomed and looked after by the host couple. Mr. Selzer is always up for a quick chat. Breakfast was served to us at the table and was excellent! The rooms are newly renovated and the restaurant itself has wonderfully rustic furnishings that convey the charm of years gone by. That's exactly what sets them apart from the many new guesthouses/hotels with mostly bland and cold facilities and that's a good thing. Things are still cozy here. If we go to this area around Alsfeld again, we will definitely book there again.

We celebrated a birthday here. The food was buffet style, Ms. Selzer surprised us again, it was very good. Service was always there for us. The Selzer family thank you for this beautiful day, you are great and we will come back, I promise.

My niece's wedding took us to this really lovely guesthouse in the beautiful Antrift Valley. We were able to spend 2 really quiet nights, even though it's right on the street, it's very quiet and relaxing here. The rooms are really comfortable and we slept excellently. :-)The owners are very accommodating and warm, really nice people. :-).We were able to enjoy the specially conjured delicacies at the wedding evening buffet, a real treat for the palate! Thank you very much, dear Selzer family, also for the beautiful decoration of the celebration hall!The breakfast leaves absolutely nothing to be desired, crispy fresh rolls from the adjacent family bakery, delicious cheese and sausage platters, even scrambled eggs and other wishes are very happy to be heard and fulfilled! We would be happy to come back, thank you for your warm hospitality! :-)

Beautiful, inexpensive guesthouse in the Antrifttal. A bit far away from everything but quiet. The Selzer couple are friendly and accommodating. My room with a balcony was bright and functionally furnished, the bed was a bit too soft for my taste but comfortable. Personally, lighting is very important to me because I want a feel-good atmosphere so I can relax in the evening. The indirect lighting did this quite well. The internet connection was good and fast and the TV offers some standard programs for entertainment. Breakfast is sufficient and usual for the region, could do with some fruit or vegetables (maybe a tangerine or a small apple). I was in the region for work and would stay here again at any time. When I arrived on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. there was no place to eat, not even in town or in the surrounding area. However, I knew roughly what to expect and had taken precautions. There is a supermarket a few places further away, but at least 10 km away.

The Selzer couple are very friendly, helpful and caring. The rooms were very clean, my bed was good, the bed linen was fresh and pleasant, it is a simple but attractive room.The breakfast is really very good.Beautifully laid out, sausage, cheese, jam, Nutella, coffee, tea as desired, an egg and delicious fresh rolls from the house bakery.It's not great without a car, as there isn't really any place to go out to eat.Otherwise: emo-missable!
