We walked the Rothaarsteig in stages with luggage transport and spent one night in this beautiful hotel. Very nice reception, courteous and extremely friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and the opportunity to put together a packed lunch for a small course.

We were totally thrilled. After a very long hike we were picked up. The hotel is great, the beds are very comfortable, a swimming pool with a sauna to relax. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and everyone was nice. Hiking packages are also offered. Totally recommended.

I come here regularly for work and can highly recommend the hotel and restaurant. The rooms are always very clean, the service is very nice, the area is very quiet so you can leave the window open at night and you can only hear a few sheep mowing. The indoor swimming pool and sauna are also great for relaxing after a long day at work. The quality of the meat in the restaurant is incredibly good and you always have to be hungry to manage the portions. The only criticism I can think of is that there are few parking spaces directly in front of the hotel. There is a second parking lot where there are always spaces available, but from there you always have to walk a little to the main building. Otherwise everything was really great and recommended.

We stayed here for an overnight stay on a tour on the Rothaarsteig. The staff was very friendly and all rooms were very clean. The restaurant is closed on weekends, but it is possible to have something delivered via delivery services. This will then be explained by the staff on site. If we come here again we would book again.

We received a very warm welcome and had a lovely conference evening and a cozy breakfast in the guest house. Our individual wishes were fulfilled promptly and easily. The check-out time was handled extremely generously, which was really unusual and very commendable!The only suggestion for improvement: The single beds are very narrow, a slightly wider bed would also be very nice for one person :)

This time we are here with two big dogs and it's not a problem at all. We received such a warm welcome and as always... everything was great!We were there for a hiking weekend! It was lovely, the rooms were clean and well maintained. All of the employees, really all of them, were super nice and helpful. The food was absolutely great! For coffee there were hot weapons with ice cream and warm cherries, delicious! The dinner was highly recommended, there was plenty of choice even for vegetarians. We will definitely come back, just to use the swimming pool again😉 So! Now hikers with dogs are welcome too. There is a small minus point... the mattress, which was quite soft)

Was there on a business trip for training purposes.Full board ensures that you are well catered for and the food is also delicious. Rooms are basic but clean and well maintained.
