I was a guest a little over a week ago as a very good friend of mine got married nearby.I felt very comfortable from the start. The room was perfectly tempered, fresh air and fresh scent, as well as the cleanliness made a great first impression, as did the loving design, and the rest of the guest house confirmed this. I felt like I was at home or with good friends.The breakfast the next day left nothing to be desired. Everything was fresh and very tasty. In addition to numerous types of bread, a well-cooked egg, some cheese, there was also spread for vegetarians and vegans.The breakfast and the accompanying pot of coffee got me back on my feet after the party, as did the nice chat with Mr. Köhler, who "looked after" me during the time :)I asked if I could leave my car in the yard for a while because I wanted to take a walk in the nearby forest. This was absolutely no problem and was just as uncomplicated as the entire stay.Many hotels can learn a lot from everything. I really liked it, so I would like to come back.Please keep it great!Thank you for everything!

Idyllically located, privately run guesthouse, with a cozy outdoor terrace, nice hosts who are happy to give tips on what is worth seeing nearby and are very accommodating!Absolutely recommended!!!

A really beautiful guest house with love in every little detail. The African room I stayed in is fantastic, spacious and super comfortable. There is nothing missing here and the view of the green, beautiful garden is enchanting. The shared use of the terrace and the always friendly contact with the owners also make the stay unforgettable and special. Absolute recommendation!

We stayed here for 2 nights and had room with a small fully equipped kitchen and private terrace.The room is very lovingly decorated, a theme room that has been carefully thought through.The bathroom is small but the shower is fine and everything is clean.Lovely towels.The breakfast is delicious, something for everyone, lots of homemade jam.There is a parking space, which I think is a bit tight when the house is full, but all good.The employees are super friendly and service is highly regarded in my opinion.If we are in the area we will definitely come back again.

Were guests for 2 weeks.Everything is just right at the Köhler Guesthouse.The rooms are all beautifully renovated and nicely furnished.The breakfast was simply great, especially to mention the many types of homemade jams, simply delicious.The great, nice and loving nature of the owners is simply something special. Everything fits here! Rooms are beautifully and individually furnished, you can tell a loving hand is at work. It is ideal for excursions and within a radius of around 4 km you can find everything you need from food to refueling.Absolute recommendation!!!And the Christmas decorations are also chosen with a lot of love and taste.

Very nice and especially clean stay. Heike and her husband are very friendly and almost everything is possible. Breakfast was also very good and varied. Very friendly and homely atmosphere where I will definitely come back!

Unfortunately only for one night, but all the nicer for that. Furnished with great attention to detail and everything you need. The highlight on top was the very tasty and varied breakfast. For us as golfers, the nearby courses are definitely worth a trip again. If we are in the area, we will check here first to see if we can stay. We wish the friendly hosts all the best and thank you very much.

Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars. Normally you would have to give 10. The hosts are great, even where I'm from Hesse, but I've been away for decades and was happy about the tips. Übethaupt in Braunfels Konditorei Vogel...a poem. Rooms are greatBreakfast has everything you need, quiet location, beds are great, you can sleep wonderfully and start the day.
