We were in one of the older rooms, and apparently in the very last corner! Ancient house with ancient carpet, on the 2nd floor...everything was super cramped, the room was tiny (corner room), musty smell...the bed creaked like crazy with every movement, there was one step to reach the bathroom...ancient and tiny...that's how bad I feel Rarely slept in a hotel!! The only positive thing was the kettle with coffee/tea and sparkling water from the house! A real joke for this price in the village!The food was good, the service in the evening as well, breakfast was also okay, but the price performance is very poor!Definitely never again for overnight stays!

We were atSunday breakfast there, the website gives us hope for a lot. Since we live here new, we wanted to try it out. The atmosphere is so bland and outdated that you can't feel comfortable. Bare, uncomfortable room with sad plants whose leaves are already on the floor, forgotten stray birds on the windowsill. In the hallway there are old flyers and posters, generally a lot of posters/notes hanging everywhere, including outside, everything seems very untidy.The breakfast was okay, but there was no water and no service, we were alone in the room 98% of the time, perhaps because there were no other guests from outside.If you want to enjoy a nice Sunday breakfast in a great atmosphere, this is the wrong place.

The two of us stayed in this beautiful hotel for a weekend. Our room and the furniture were a bit old and outdated, but everything was very clean and tidy. The small bathroom was quite new and renovated. The beautiful, thick yet light, fluffy duvets were a dream. As a welcome, there was a small basket with a small bottle of red wine, a bottle of water, a few nuts and a chocolate bar and a few chips in the room. We also had the opportunity to brew a cup of tea, espresso or coffee in our room early in the morning or in between. The service was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was completely convincing. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again! Thank you very much for the great hospitality! I saw the chocolates at dinner yesterday and I have to say they look really great. My colleagues and I then tried them too. And what do I have to say... Mega. Really delicious. Take a look at the website, you can see the whole offer there, but be careful... don't forget to breathe 🤤. By the way, the steak was really great and the dessert, mousse au chocolat.The team is really in a great mood.Thank you very much 🤩

A great, accommodating and friendly family-run hotel. The appearance is very well maintained. The room was spacious and very well maintained, including the bathroom. The dinner was great, plentiful, hot and very tasty. The breakfast was rich, great selection, also great. Very happy again.

The Landhotel Gärtner is very conveniently located in Flensungen and can be easily reached by car; the Vogelsbergbahn train station is also in the immediate vicinity.The quality of the food in the restaurant is very good, and the kitchen sometimes offers very creative creations (if you want). This circumstance attracts many guests from further afield.The pricing is just about reasonable, but anyone who values quality will certainly be able to get over that.I will gladly come again.
