We arrived with a motorcycle group, the welcome was warm, parking space was also reserved for our motorcycles. The hotel is in a great location in the old town right next to the castle tower. The rooms are neat and clean. The breakfast buffet is very good. You can take drinks from the drinks fridge with a good selection. We felt very comfortable here.

A family-run hotel in the old town center of Schlitz. And you can tell, because the focus is on the satisfied customer. Super great service. Pleasant atmosphere. Beautiful outdoor area in the garden. A very good breakfast buffet. Gladly again.

Very pretty hotel in the middle of the enchanting old town of Schlitz. An atmospheric garden with pretty seating areas invites you to linger. We had a very nice, spacious room with a great view of the castle tower. A limited number of parking spaces are available directly in front of the house. Loading and unloading is possible at any time directly in front of the hotel and additional free parking spaces are easily accessible within walking distance. Warm-hearted and very attentive hosts are always ready to help! There is a very rich and delicious breakfast buffet. Great starting point for hiking and cycling tours. There is secure parking and loading space for bicycles. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable at all times!

Very nice welcome, great room, good breakfast and extremely dog friendly. The small garden and the location in the middle of the old town are particularly beautiful. Highly recommended!!!

Cute smaller hotel in the old town. Very friendly staff. I booked through Booking. It worked great even though we only got to the hotel at 2200. Dogs are welcome.

The location of the hotel in the historic city center is very nice. The room was original and the breakfast was good. What we didn't like is that in the description it says private parking spaces are available, which means there are three parking spaces for the entire hotel, otherwise you have to laboriously look for a parking space in town. For this reason, we will no longer book here...

Always a good stay. Very good small hotel. Nice and very helpful owners.
A good cold buffet breakfast with hot order options. Also includes some seafood options. Parking can be difficult at times but owners always do their best to make sure we can park.

Very pretty and well-run hotel in a historically rare location and a building steeped in history. Very clean, tidy and well decorated. The breakfast was excellent, the event organization with buffet and DJ was very good. We are a group of friends with many adults, some with dogs. We were given the opportunity to have a barbecue, sit comfortably together and have a lively celebration. The employees were all very attentive, friendly, professional and very pleasant as a person. We felt very comfortable and well looked after. Absolute recommendation. Thanks.

Very nice hotel, in the middle of the old town. We had a great room with a view of the castle. Service was great, mega breakfast with everything your heart could desire.We can only recommend the hotel and will definitely come back.

What for the eyes, stomach and soul!!!!An absolutely breathtaking place and an exceptional hotel with the best management of the tenant. Our little miniature dachshund girl was also welcome. The room is a dream, super clean, great, romantic atmosphere, the garden has a wonderful atmosphere. The beautiful details are great. Here the operator exercises his talents very well. We are so excited that we want to come back. It's rare to find a piece of jewelry like this. The breakfast was so good that we literally almost ate ourselves. Everything fresh, plenty of choice. Rolls were so delicious. Everything. We'll definitely be raving about everything for a long time.Negative reviews are incomprehensible. Maybe it was the guest himself. You experience a lot of unpleasant things with people. I come from the service sector myself.We really appreciate the hotel and what is achieved here. That needs to be appreciated.Thank you for the great stay. 🤍 We recommend this without reservation.Addendum 09/12/23: Thank you for your answer and the time you take to do it. We're coming def. again and then want to do the recommended tour with the Hagen travel guide that Mr. Popp recommended to us. 😃 If it works, also at Christmas time because of the beautifully decorated castle or at the festival, which takes place every 2 years. 🙂

The short stay was generally very pleasant, but when we arrived we were rudely turned away for over an hour, so we couldn't get into our room until 3 p.m. The boss, a driving instructor, was very decisive when it came to the parking regulations in front of the building. There were difficulties with the card system when paying, whereupon we were loudly informed that the entire daily routine would now be disrupted. Well, the beautiful area and the good location of the town made up for it all.
