My single room on the first floor had access to a terrace overlooking the runway from the airfield. Great view. Bathroom and room brand new. The Italian restaurant Cockpit next door has great service and delicious dishes.The rooms have a refrigerator and kettle + instant coffee and creamer. There is no breakfast there - not even within walking distance (at least 30 minutes on foot). My suggestion would be a Nespresso machine with capsules and long-life milk in the lobby. Great accommodation for the Westerwaldsteig - entry the next morning right next to the accommodation. Highly recommended. Get breakfast the evening before at Nahkauf in Breitscheid.

The stay at the Bordinghouse Breitscheid was extremely professional and future-oriented. The entire team was highly dedicated and customer focused, which helped make my stay a memorable one.The furnishings of the boarding house were modern and functional, which I particularly liked as a technology-loving guest. The integration of the adjacent airfield into the overall concept gives the boarding house a unique atmosphere and shows the future direction of the company. 09:09The restaurant also offered a diverse selection of high-quality food and drinks. The cuisine was creative and innovative, which I think makes a visit totally worth it.All in all, my stay at the Bordinghouse Breitscheid was professional, forward-looking and simply fantastic. can only recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a unique and outstanding stay. Everything was great, easy check-in, nice large apartment, comfortable beds, practical kitchenette. The only negative from our point of view: The bathroom had an extremely loud and long-lasting ventilation, which made going to the toilet at night an irrevocable event that also activated our roommates for a long time and impaired sleep. The sliding glass door solution is understandable, but acoustically and visually suboptimal. And the extremely shallow shower tray made it difficult for both of us not to flood the bathroom.And yet none of that would be a reason not to come back. The advantages far outweighed the disadvantages. The restaurant next door also contributes to this, where we had a great meal and excellent service.We walked the Westerwaldsteig and the house is ideal for that too.

Very nice room with small weaknesses. Check in is contactless and uncomplicated.Rooms clean and quiet location. Good shopping opportunities 10-15 minutes away by car.Kitchen has everything you need. Cutlery under the stove becomes very hot during the cooking process. The pan and large pot do not fit together on the stovetop without the control panel being heated too. Operating the extractor hood is not self-explanatory.Bed comfortable.Bathroom clean. Shower doesn't seal properly, so water runs into the bathroom.TV was completely set to Polish and couldn't be easily corrected in hotel mode.No indication of WiFi key. This can be seen on the statement upon check-in.Overall happy with the accommodation.There is a restaurant right next door.

We stayed in the boarding house on our hike on the Westerwaldsteig! The rooms were beautiful, service and support were top notch! A very special atmosphere to spend the night up there at the airport! We really liked it all around! We'll definitely come back!

Very nice hotel at Breitscheid sports airport. The rooms are modern, very clean and offer a beautiful view of the airport. Check-in is done electronically, which has its pitfalls, especially for older people. During the first telephone inquiry I was reprimanded like a stupid student, saying that I had probably not read everything correctly, and upon the second inquiry I was simply hung up on. Without the help of other guests we would have paid but not received a room card. Therefore a heavy deduction for service.

The rooms are clean and renovated in a modern way, the only drawback is the lack of reception. The chick-in takes place via a large screen terminal with touch function. Here you need the booking number from the confirmation of the reservation (via HRS or Booking). The problem is that it can only be found completely hidden in the email, the number is in royal blue on a dark blue background in the email. Unfortunately, you only see it on a smartphone when you look at it the third or fourth time. The Cafe Cockpit next to the hotel was closed for breakfast in the morning, and there was no notice why...
