We ate twice in the hotel restaurant. Each time we were very well received despite the late hour (9:30 p.m.). The dishes are very good and the setting is magnificent. The walk through the heart of the rice fields to come, about 10 minutes from the center, is also very popular.

Lasamana Villas is the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been to. The service is amazing, I have never experienced anything like it. The staff is so kind and they will do everything to make sure that you are comfortable. The room is cleaned everyday and they always bring you to the city on scooter, since the hotel is in the rice fields. This area is beautiful and quiet and within 5 minutes you are in the busy city. Walking is also possible (10-15 min) and we enjoyed it. I would definitely come back.

Great place!!! Almost don’t want to leave a review in fear of blowing this place up and turning into another over crowded Aussie getaway. Staff was polite and accommodating. Always ready to take care of our needs and always polite and smiling. Room was fantastic!! Perfect for a romantic getaway. Great location. Quiet and far enough away from the nightmare of Ubud central. Thanks again for the great experience

A very nicely furnished villa! In terms of comfort factor, it was the nicest one we had on our Bali trip. Unfortunately, you can't really use the pool because it's really cold and there's almost never any sun there. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of creepy crawlies outside on the terrace, so you wouldn't want to lie on the sunbeds, even though the view is inviting. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not at all to our taste, the avocado toast was so spicy (I have no idea why) and the other things, like croissants, were only baked from the supermarket... For the price of the villas you could have had a fresh, delicious croissant I think you can get it, because there are so many great restaurants in Ubud where you could get it too! The next day we had breakfast at "The Hideout" Café just a few hundred meters further towards the center and were totally thrilled! You have to try this restaurant! You don't have to be afraid of Bali Belly there either, as it is completely new and totally clean!The employees always tried to do everything right for us. But we were constantly asked when we left the room what we were doing and where we were going. Unfortunately, that annoyed us because if we had needed a transfer, we would have already contacted us. You can always take a scooter to the center of Ubud if you want, as the complex can only be reached by scooter or on foot. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the center, which I think is also possible.However, the location in the rice terraces is beautiful! Unfortunately, the villas are completely noisy, so that from half past seven in the morning you can hear everything coming from the kitchen and reception and you can also hear every word spoken by the neighbors. But you have to come to terms with that in Bali, because there is probably no such thing as room insulation there 😄Overall, despite some criticisms, a nice stay.
