A really highly recommended family hotel in a historic half-timbered house. Quiet location! The rooms are attractively furnished, the bathroom is extremely modern and clean, and a well-stocked selection of drinks and snacks is available to guests. The breakfast was absolutely overwhelming, a rich selection, you were even told that you could have bread/rolls to take away. The restaurant also offers a daily menu. Great value for money. And all the staff were very courteous, hospitable and helpful.

We were in Stadtallendorf on business and booked the hotel. We were welcomed very nicely. The rooms are 1A clean and equipped with everything you need. Parking spaces are available in front of the door and behind the house. Our room had a nice terrace with a great view.From Marburg it was 15 minutes by car.The breakfast was very lovingly and attractively prepared. It felt more like visiting family than staying in a hotel. We would 100% come back. We have nothing to complain about.

A small and very personal hotel within historical walls. In the middle of town and yet quiet. For such an old building, spacious rooms with everything you need for a good night. Not your run-of-the-mill standard and with very courteous people, great, lovingly arranged breakfast and very good value for money

Small-scale hotel lovingly run by a couple and their son. We were surprised at the great quality of the food. The menu is small but there is something for everyone. The service is truly excellent.

The hotel is beautifully located on the market square of Amöneburg and the hospitality is phenomenal, with a touch of humor. Nice room, delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

Warm and familiar!When you check in you are warmly welcomed as if you were arriving home.The room was very clean, had a nice new bathroom.The food was excellent, and when we had to leave very early, a packed lunch was left in front of our room “like mommy” had, with everything our hearts desired and more.Highly recommended, gladly again!

We slept really well here. Room with comfortable four-poster bed, view of the market square. The room was large and bright, the bathroom was modernly renovated. The two hosts are the friendliest people we have ever met in a hotel. The breakfast at the table was also in the top league. There were two of us, but four people would have been satisfied here. And sooooo delicious. Absolute recommendation.

We had a wonderful weekend in Amöneburg and we really liked the Hotel/Restaurant Dombäcker! Both the breakfast - served at the table with coffee/tea and juice, bread, rolls, various cold cuts, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, herring salad/matjes and more - and the dinner a la carte tasted very good and was very plentiful measured. The service was super attentive, very friendly, just great! Our room was large and clean, the old four-poster bed creaks sometimes, but what the heck? The mattresses were comfortable, the duvet was warm, we slept well 🙂 The bathroom seemed relatively newly renovatedWe were particularly pleased with the personal contact with the boss, warm, funny and wonderfully uncomplicated! Thank you again, it was wonderful!

Had a wonderful time <3 Spacious, attractive room with four-poster bed, super friendly staff and we felt very welcome. Food (both evening and breakfast) very good and prepared with care. We were really positively surprised and enjoyed the nice seat on the square. The hotel is located on a mountain, a short walk with beautiful views is recommended.

Wonderful old, perfectly renovated half-timbered house on the Amöneburg market square in the middle of the winding old town. We had a really spacious room with a four-poster bed and a modern bathroom.The restaurant was already very good in the evening - but the breakfast was simply great: varied, fresh, tasty and everything was lovingly served.In addition, a very friendly welcome and extremely fast service.
