Great hotel! The rooms are clean and very well equipped. The breakfast was perfect. The boss himself was very friendly and approachable, he even responded to special requests at breakfast (which was definitely more than enough). On the whole, a decent and good hotel. There was enough parking space in front of the hotel. WiFi was also good. This review applies to both hotels (Ratskeller and Sonne).

There is no reception, you have to phone afterwards to get your key🙄🙄The room was small but clean, okay to stay overnight👍🏻👍🏻 but a bit expensive at €50!!!!!!!Only when you held onto the door frame to put on your shoes did you have the frame in your hand😲😲The WiFi was free, but on TV you could only watch the secondary channels like rbb and so on🤨🤨There was no restaurant in the house to eat in the evening, it was closed. We had to look for a restaurant in Falkenstein and found what we were looking for in the Ratskeller's sister hotel "Zur Sonne". You couldn't complain about the food, it was very tasty😋😋We asked the Croatian host about breakfast tomorrow, which was fine when we asked if it was included.The night was also a horror🤨😱😠😡 because the other guests slammed the doors at four in the morning and were loud in the room...............Had breakfast at the sister hotel at 9 a.m. the next day. There was a sausage platter with ham, salami and cheese. Each had a cold hard-boiled egg that was probably a day old. A large yogurt with banana with honey. Coffee with milk and orange juice from the bottle and some grapes............When we wanted to leave, the foreign host said we still had to pay, so nothing was included and so we had to pay €10............. per person😲🤨For such a breakfast with not even scrambled eggs, I think it's outrageous, we're not in the Adlon😡😡To be honest, the Ratskeller in Falkenstein in Vogtland cannot be recommended, as a lot needs to be changed. You'd rather go to the Hotel Falkenstein, pay exactly the same, but the rooms are bigger, you can eat downstairs in the evening, you can also watch the main channels and have a hearty breakfast!!!!!!!!!!!!
