Hotel & Pension Aßmann

The positive first: the room and the shower room were very clean. There is nothing to complain about here. The hotel is also very quiet, so you can sleep peacefully. However, our room was very noisy, i.e. you could hear the direct neighbors. However, I can only give the room four stars because small, essential things were missing in the rooms: a soap dispenser would have been the minimum. There were two mini packs of shower gel (see photo). A shower gel dispenser was also missing. Although you usually have your own shower gel with you anyway, if you spontaneously have to spend the night, the entire hygiene process becomes an exciting matter.We also booked breakfast. Our demands for breakfast are: at least filter coffee and good rolls. The coffee was instant coffee, some of the rolls seemed to be from the day before, at least that's how they felt in terms of consistency. The cheese plate and sausage plate were okay, the cereal tasted a bit musty. We looked in vain for an orange juice; there was a multivitamin-like drink. The milk wasn't bad, but it was already curdling. Or she responded with the instant coffee. All in all, we didn't find the quality of the breakfast appropriate for the price. Since we travel a lot to hotels (including abroad), we think we have a little experience with us.Unfortunately the restaurant was no longer open in the evening (after around 9 p.m.). Otherwise, my friend and I would have liked to have a beer or two.The operators were a bit tight-lipped, not rude and possibly. They were also under stress. They were definitely not unfriendly, rather short. Some people like it, others expect a little more attention.All in all, not a real recommendation from our side. But it wasn't a complete failure either. We named the points that bothered us and that we liked.As a side note: the hotel is far from the beaten track, there is nothing worth mentioning within walking distance. The hotel is very quiet.

We once again had a very pleasant stay. Everything worked as agreed. Highly recommended. We love the breakfast buffet - just great. Price-performance is great.

Sounded very friendly on the phone at first. But when we asked if we could take our bikes into the room (it always worked so far), she became very unfriendly. Very inflexible.

Nice service, good room service, good food and a very quiet location.

We were only there now. It's really quiet there which is nice.But the breakfast was catastrophic. No fresh rolls, no fresh cheese and sausage so really not recommended. And the same every day.The guesthouse is NOT recommended.All four of them weren't thrilled. That was the first and last time we were there.

We can only recommend the hotel and guesthouse, a superbly run family business. Price and performance are right and the food tastes great.

I have been to the Hotel Assmann very often and I can only say again and again that I am at peace with everything. I would recommend it again and again. Everything is just right, from the room to the delicious food, which is always freshly prepared. I will be back soon

When I'm in the area, I always book with the Assmann family because they are always friendly and there is nothing to complain about in the rooms, and above all you get a lot of peace and quiet to switch off from everyday life. It is always possible to book at short notice, which I really like. I can only recommend her.

A very nice hotel, very tasty breakfast with plenty of choice for this price, simply top hosts are very friendly

In my opinion, the rooms were clean and decently decorated. For 2 hotel stars. A place to stay overnight during transit is adequate, but nothing more.
