We actually didn't want to leave a review because the stay was a gift from our friends, but we got permission... 😘 We chose this hotel based on the star ratings... The hotel/house is actually beautiful.. The approach to converting this beautiful house into a hotel was certainly well-intentioned. The explanations, on the other hand, are very careless, unprofessional and very cheap. The craftsmanship does not meet German standards. Anyone who has ever been to a 3* hotel (national category) in Turkey can certainly find parallels 😄. The service is unprofessional - more like a hobby, the breakfast (the coffee and the offering/selection of food) is a joke. We had the impression that "control rounds" were being done at breakfast,to see who eats and drinks how much...😎😎 All other important evaluation criteria have already been addressed by other visitors. Only the fact that we were there with our best friends softened the disappointment about this house. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back.

Spent 4 nights in August, the rooms are very clean and you feel comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and well stocked, the staff is very polite and nice so you can start the day well. The best thing is the dinner and we can only recommend it. Our service was a very nice and friendly waitress and the chef makes very tasty dishes. (Dish No. 13 that you should try, for 2 people)The hotel can only be recommended. A big thank you to the entire hotel team, until next time, this will be our regular hotel on every trip to Chemnitz.

A very good place to stay:) 15 minutes walk to the old town. At a very good price we got a large room with lots of cabinets and a nice bathroom. Room very clean. Nice service. A big advantage is the restaurant located here, which is open long hours. There is also a hotel parking lot.

In the room, the decorations were attached to the wall with adhesive strips. The towels were frayed and so hard that you couldn't dry yourself with them. Our supposed deluxe double room with balcony neither had a balcony nor was it deluxe. 2 narrow rooms, in the first room a couch, a table, 2 chairs and a TV that didn't work. In the second room there was a double bed, which you could only pass one at a time (since the rooms were so narrow), a closet and then the bathroom behind it. There was neither a refrigerator, as stated, nor a wastebasket in our deluxe accommodation. The reception was never manned and when you did you were either not understood or understood very poorly. There were no explanations about WiFi, how to get into the house at night, or any other usage instructions. Unfortunately we will no longer visit this house.

The first time we arrived we had to wait (almost 10 minutes!) until someone at the reception finished eating! He came with his mouth full and said "I'll eat it quickly". Wow. The family room was quite large, everything was new and really OK for the price. The second time everything was more or less ok, we got the same room. The third time we made a reservation by phone because of course we wanted to have the same room again. Everything has been sorted out and you should receive confirmation via email. After checking 3 times, unfortunately nothing was received. When we arrived, the gentleman at the reception asked us what price we had agreed on....um, is this always negotiable here or how should we understand the question? Then we got the room on the wrong floor and he assured us it was exactly the same room. Of course it wasn't the family room we wanted. Back down and everything worked out in the end. We're really conflicted, all this back and forth and at first impression we would have left straight away, but the room's location is really suitable for us.Unfortunately, the sockets are now falling out and the little things add up. It's a real shame because it has really good potential, but this surrounding, this service, that different people are constantly walking around at the reception who look like they're there for a private visit, makes the whole thing so unprofessional. Too bad!

Today we went to Ocakbsi Restaurant with friends and were very disappointed. We had ordered and the table wasn't ready. That meant waiting...After we were seated very politely, we waited again for half an hour and our drinks. The food was delicious as always, but not what we ordered. After this comment we were completely ignored. The service was disastrous. Very unfortunate. We were very satisfied on our first visit.

By far the worst hotel I have stayed at.I immediately felt uncomfortable, just because of the guys in leather jackets in the entrance area who were talking loudly in Turkish. Next to him there is someone who is talking loudly on the phone in Turkish. The receptionist barely understands German. I told the lady that I felt uncomfortable here and would like to cancel. She then said the cancellation would cost the same as the overnight stay. Understood. The rooms are uncomfortable and spartan. Care was taken to ensure that as little as possible was spent. There is no internet from the 3rd floor. In the bathroom the socket is out and naked wires are sticking out the side... In the bathroom...The street is very loud, even at night, from 5 a.m. the avalanche of metal really starts.I could go on writing for hours, unfortunately only bad stuff...
