07/25/2024 Today I was there again and was warmly welcomed by my friend Oskar, served very nicely and quickly and treated to excellent food.11/21/2023: I'm wondering why my review shouldn't follow the guidelines, but I'm not giving up!The food comes up here, but still tastes great!(*You can sit inside or outside, the entire spectrum of Czech cuisine is represented on the menu. And there is a funny parrot that is allowed to move freely around the restaurant.Oskar the parrot has made friends with me and comes to hold my arm and shoulder.The only downer:People who cannot climb stairs or are dependent on a wheelchair will not be able to use the restaurant as it can only be reached via stairs.(*The dining room is on the first floor and the kitchen below is on the ground floor.---Here the food comes up, but it still tastes great! We were accidentally stranded in Petrovice because our car had broken down. We booked two rooms for the family and they were very stylishly furnished, had plenty of space and large beds. The rooms were in the attic and they were a little warm, but there was a fan so it was fine, but it was not a place I would stay overnight if it is very hot.We ate in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast. We got nice food for a good price. You get a lot for your money at this place and you can clearly feel that they take pride in what they do.We had a small dog with us and we were allowed to have it both in the room and in the restaurant, they even had water bowls in the restaurant for four-legged guests.It was encouraging for us to spend the night here, and the next day we were fortunately able to drive on.

I recently had the honor of visiting the Orion restaurant and guest house. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and at home. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.The guest house rooms were clean, cozy and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern and the window had a beautiful view.But the real highlight of my stay was the meal at the Orion restaurant. The menu was varied and tempting, with something for everyone. Every meal I had was perfectly prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. The flavor combinations were amazing and the presentation on the plate was beautiful.The restaurant staff were incredibly attentive and willing to recommend dishes that I would like. They always made sure I had everything I needed and that I was enjoying my meal.Overall, my stay at the Orion Restaurant and Guest House was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the staff were excellent and the food was fantastic. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in the Ore Mountains.

We ate there as a large family. It was super tasty and also reasonably priced. There were no long waiting times. The service was very friendly.
