Nice hotel with a great view. Breakfast is good and has a wide selection. You can enjoy a delicious snack at the small village shop.In the evening the walk to the bowling alley is also worth it, delicious food.

Very nice view and very tasty breakfast buffet.The rooms are a bit old, which isn't a bad thing, but we expected something different for the price. Small, somewhat “musty” rooms in an adjoining building that is very noisy.The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations: very large selection and very tasty food!

We spent a week at the Hotel Berghof Lichtenhain and felt very, very comfortable. Our room was very nice, quiet and clean. And the associated terrace is very spacious and equipped with comfortable seating.The breakfast was extremely tasty and plentiful. Everything is always freshly prepared. And there is always someone there if you have a wish in the morning.We would love to come back 🙂

The staff was friendly and helpful. The view from the room was particularly beautiful and the breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh. We were only there for one night, but would like to come back again and again.

We made a reservation at very short notice and received a very nice, spacious room with a terrace in the main building. The furnishings are very well maintained, the bathroom is particularly great, bright and modern. The breakfast offering was also very good and varied. If you want to grab something to eat or drink during the day, just go to the village shop on the small market square, just a few steps away. Ideal as a starting point for hikes and the view of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains is great.

The best thing is the view from the room and the breakfast room over the great landscape.The room was perfectly fine. Not big but sufficient. Room and bathroom were clean.There was a refrigerator in the hallway of the house that guests can use.The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very rich.The location overall is also great. The sights of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains are easy to reach from here.

I expected a little more for the price range.Apart from the great breakfast, there is no supply of any kind available. No drinks machines, no water in the room. It's a shame for a late arrival after a long hike! Even if you travel light, it's difficult... No shower gel, shampoo, etc.The view is great... but you can often find it for less money!

It is a very quiet place, the rooms have a very nice view, the facilities are clean, the breakfast is varied and the view of the restaurant is also very nice! Highly recommended to have a good time 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Our room was also separate in an old, renovated GDR barracks. The building is very noisy. The rooms are not very large and are functionally furnished. The view of nature is excellent. We have fond memories of the phenomenal breakfast at the Hotel Berghof Lichtenhain. Unfortunately, the hotel no longer offers dinner, so we went to the panorama camping, restaurant and bowling alley and can recommend it without reservation.

Nice hotel in a very quiet place. Great starting point for hiking. View from the room of mountains and fields. Rooms clean and clear, but unfortunately noisy. Breakfast rich and lovingly designed. Gluten-free rolls available on request. Very nice service. Check in unproblematic.Nice terrace with a great view.Fridge in the hallway.We felt very comfortable. Will definitely come back!

We were quite happy with the hotel.The view over the fields and mountains during breakfast is amazing. If you hike in that direction you will quickly reach the Lichtenhein waterfall and the cowshed can also be easily reached on foot from there.What I unfortunately have to mention negatively is the service.There was no real check-in, the key was placed in a place that was given to you when you called the number that was there. Ok, that wasn't a problem then we'll just do the formalities the next morning. The lady who prepared breakfast was very nice but didn't seem to speak German very well. When I asked when the boss would come, she said in about 20 minutes. 40 minutes later we left without seeing him. In the afternoon I called him to ask when he would be there, the answer was at 8:00 the next morning. In short, we never saw the boss. We received the tourist tickets, with which you can ride the bus for free, get reduced entry and which cost €7.50 per person, on the morning of our departure. Since we were there by car and only hiked, it wasn't that important, but I still don't think it's a good thing. If we had specifically asked for it, we probably would have gotten it sooner, but as a guest I don't want to chase after it.Nevertheless, I would book the hotel again and would also recommend it to my friends.

As part of our hiking trip, we stayed overnight at the Berghof Lichtenhain.Very nice welcome. We got one of the most beautiful rooms with a terrace and a great view. Not all rooms are equipped the same, so you should ask about this when booking in person.The room was clean and quiet. There was a refrigerator in the hallway for all rooms.The hotel does not offer dinner.The breakfast buffet was amazing: a huge selection of regional products and homemade delicacies... from savory to cake...You have a great view from the breakfast room and if the hiking trail wasn't breathing down our necks, we would have stayed here for a while.

The website pictures give the wrong impression when it comes to accommodation. The rooms are in an asbestos low-rise building next to the beautiful courtyard. The rooms are very noisy and small. Look nice.We expressed criticism on site and the proposed solution was that we could leave 😅
