We spent a weekend here and left the children with the in-laws and were able to relax and unwind here. Idyllic and quiet location, with numerous hiking and excursion options, you can spend your time here both actively and relaxed. Breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent and should include something for every taste. Drinks are included in the evening, which is also fantastic. A small sauna area can also be used and was completely sufficient for us. If we had traveled with the children we would have missed this entertainment in the form of a playground, but as a couple it would have been a wonderful destination. Gladly again!

It's wonderful here... we're very happy, everything is great except for the little thingsWhat suggestions I personally have for improvement would be a playground for children... And the outdoor area needs to be renewed but that will definitely happen. The inside of the hotel has been completely renovated and it's great ☺️☺️ Service and staff are top 👍🏻

fantastic hotel, very nicely renovated, great staff.Booked half board; food was fine, good addition, enough choice at the buffet. Rooms are on the small side, but look fine. Beautiful area for walking and cycling.

A bit disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Rooms very small, every cm was calculated. There was no closet at all. Sauna and wellness are not possible at all. Food quite good but baked rolls???I have never experienced a hotel with a non-smoking balcony. Holidaymakers were stunned.....The area was great,Hiking and cycling are uniquely beautiful. That was the best of all. Service very, very nice...DDR standard available, you can recognize it immediately.

Remotely located hotel, partially renovated. Very quiet, no cell phone reception.The hotel offers good WiFi. The food is good and plentiful, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. free beer, soft drinks and wine. The rooms are large enough, with a balcony, a view of the greenery and the stream, unfortunately no closed closet. The pool is more of a slightly larger bathtub and was not in use. Sauna and a relaxation room as a salt cave are ok. A fitness room is available, marginally equipped.The staff is friendly. A fruit plate plus champagne as a welcome in the room was greatOverall, we couldn't get the impression of a 4 star superior hotel.

A very nicely located hotel with super nice and helpful staff. Personal wishes are fulfilled easily. The food is very tasty and varied. Price performance is great, drinks etc... The rooms are well equipped, but there is no closet or more storage space. I imagine two weeks in winter would be difficult. The sauna is a bit small but ok. A clock would be an advantage in the relaxation room, which is also a bit too small, with only six loungers arranged relatively close together. But that's complaining at a high level.Overall, I can only recommend this hotel.Thank you for the lovely stay.

A hotel with very nice rooms, super super friendly and helpful staff. Food very tasty and rich. I would like to make a few comments. A clock in the sauna area, a longer handrail at the plunge pool (especially for older guests) and a cupboard or shelf in the room would be desirable. The sauna is too small for the number of guests and the number of loungers is far too few. Making calls on a cell phone is difficult.Thank you to all the hardworking hands

A hotel located on the edge of the forest. Very suitable for hiking or cycling tours in summer. A sauna and the small salt cave are also on site. Service and food are very good. Including half board plus the price was okay.

The rooms are modern.The buffet is very large, varied and tastes good.Only the location of the hotel is very rural. No cell phone reception. There is WiFi in the hotel for this.

Pure relaxation, insider tip, everything to your complete satisfactionWe were here for the second time and we can only say it is a great modern hotel in the middle of the forest. We again had a very nice room with a balcony and a view of the pond. Bed was very comfortable. Reception was staffed at all times and very friendly. This time we had our bikes with us and there was a garage just for bikes. There are enough parking spaces for loading and unloading and you can drive up to the entrance door. There are sun loungers outside by the pond for sunbathing. The hotel is very modernly furnished. There is a dry sauna, a plunge pool, a relaxation room and a small saltworks (salt room good for asthma and COPD). What you should definitely book are massages. We have rarely been pampered so well. We can only warmly recommend the massages from Ms. Jana Obenaus. Now we come to the food: a rich breakfast buffet hot and cold, muesli, yoghurt etc., fruit platters, juices and very good coffee and much more. Dinner was also buffet style. Warm and cold, three warm main courses, one of them vegetarian. Warm, delicious dessert, but also cold dessert and fruit. Soup, lots of salads to choose from, delicious cold dishes, all in all a very good kitchen, nice staff. All drinks were free with dinner. This was the second time we have been here and definitely not the last time. If you want peace, relaxation, good food in a beautiful environment, the Hotel Schwarzbachtal Hideaway is the right place for you. Great starting point for hiking, cycling and much more.
