Positive:- friendly, attentive - apparently the only - receptionist- free drinks in the minibar (2 water, 1 apple juice, 1 Cola 0.2l each and 1 beer)- very comfortable bedsNegative:- Sauna was only turned on at 6 p.m. on 2 out of 6 days upon request, although according to the guest information it was open daily from 1 p.m- the restaurant was not open on any day- the bar was open on one of 6 evenings- the rooms are only cleaned at the express request of the guests, which is completely fine; however, without a cleaning request, the garbage is not even taken out of the rooms...- The wear and tear on the furnishings is considerable: hole in the bathroom door, fan not working in a windowless bathroom, mold in the tile joints in the shower and deposits on the shower door, all in all, no basic cleaning has obviously been carried out for a very long time. The result is silverfish in the hotel rooms.The condition in the sauna's shower system was particularly bad. Here too, there was mold, not just on the joints, but directly on the tiles. The shower drain was completely blocked, so that when showering, a lake formed over all 3 shower stations within seconds, which, when used with shower gel, leads to an extreme risk of slipping and thus injury.The showers in the sauna had obviously NOT been cleaned in 6 days. There was also a risk of slipping there in the morning, when it was relatively dry. Result here: small fliesThere were no more cushions on the two loungers.There were no bathrobes in the hotel, not even for a fee.The condition in the sauna was unchanged over 6 days... the "decoration"... the newspapers... the garbage (bottle caps IN the "decoration").Directly in front of the hotel entrance: smoking guests and employees and overflowing ashtrays...We have known the hotel since 2017 and have always enjoyed staying there because the concept of the Dormero chain appealed to us and convinced us on site in Plauen. However, the basics - even in a casual hotel concept - are hygiene, cleanliness and a reliable offer of the contents of the booking confirmation.The Dormero Plauen no longer meets the basics.You should only book the Dormero in Plauen if you are free of disgust or are just looking for a short, comfortable overnight stay.Very unfortunate.

Good city hotel that has improved in quality, service and ambience over the last two years. Had a nice room, everything was to our satisfaction.Good breakfast. Check out on Sundays at 2 p.m. at no extra charge, dogs generally at no additional cost. Thanks

Great hotel with excellent serviceWe recently stayed at the Dormero Hotel in Plauen and were completely satisfied. The service was outstanding, the staff were always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are generously sized, around 30 square meters in size, and offer plenty of space to feel comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the comfortable bed - we slept wonderfully.The breakfast buffet was opulent and more than sufficient. A large selection of dishes that left nothing to be desired. A small downer was the poor satellite reception in the room, but that was only a minor issue and in no way dampened the positive overall impression.We'll definitely be back!

They refused to take 200 euro in cashwhich is legal currency in Germany. I had to find another hotel after drove 900 km. pretty sad.

The hotel is as described on the website, you get what you pay for and the service team is nice and courteous.You could hear something from the bar for a long time at night (until around 2 a.m.). Clinking glasses, sweeping up broken glass and engaging conversations were disruptive because the window was open due to the high summer temperatures.

I work in the field and am constantly traveling all over Germany and therefore always stay in hotels. I paid €100 including breakfast and stayed at the Domero in Plauen for two nights. For this price, air-conditioned rooms are actually standard, unfortunately not in the Domero. Otherwise, the entire facility seemed to me to be well past its best. The wash basin in the bathroom was cracked. I didn't really sleep well in the double bed either. There is also a gym in the hotel, but it doesn't really deserve that name! I would like to positively emphasize that free drinks in the hotel room are included in the price. The breakfast buffet was also extensive, with a large selection. The staff was also very friendly! But I wouldn't book this hotel again.

We spent our wedding night at the hotel and were lucky enough to get an upgrade to the King Suite. We thought that was great and would like to take this opportunity to thank him once again. It is a very nice hotel with very competent and friendly staff. We particularly liked the “SonderBAR” (which is the in-house bar). The bartender makes the best cocktails. We would love to come back! 😊

The price-performance ratio inDomero is simply unbeatable.Tip-top rooms, friendly welcome, varied breakfast (even if you're 18Euro expensive), but free minibar.Directly at the theater.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night. The minibar was a livesaver at these temperatures, because unfortunately there is no air conditioning. Otherwise everything was fine, check-in went smoothly and apart from the cleaning staff in the morning, you didn't hear anything.

Central and great!Central location, very friendly staff, very clean, great breakfast.We were allowed to park our motorcycles in the underground car park for free.
