Several homestays in a temple. The environment is calm.The rooms remain OK but there is a lack of equipment. There are not enough sockets, no kettle, no bottled water (as is the case everywhere in Indonesia) and no soap/shampoo.The housekeeping service is a big word: the room was only swept, the sheets and towels were not replaced and the toilet paper was not renewed. I would like to point out that cleaning has not been requested, so they enter your room in your absence.There is no “laundry” service as promised on Booking. But you will find laundry facilities nearby (Suddah Eco Laundry is very good).And above all the check out times are misleading on Booking. We announce a check out between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. But when at 10 a.m. we left our room to go to breakfast in town, the manager asked us to vacate the room. We had to repack our bags outside the room.It's not the best experience we had on Bali.

I stayed at Ben's homestay for approx 5-6 weeks during June-mid August and Ben and his family made me feel so welcome and were very friendly. The rooms are very spacious, wifi was good as I was remote working. The terrace is huge and the accommodation is very quiet and peaceful. It is only a 5-7 min walk into the centre. Nothing to complain at all and would 100% stay again when I next visit Ubud. Thank you Ben & Putu! :)

Nice place but dirty rooms and thieving service: during the aforementioned cleaning of the room they reached into my luggage and "took" a 50 euro banknote that I kept in a folder. nothing to add except just disgust....

A very nice hotel. Especially the room on the top floor is the best. (room number 7)The owners are very friendly and kind. They make you feel at home.If you are coming to Ubud, I definitely recommend you to come here. A quiet hotel that is close to the market, restaurants and bars. The rooms and linens are spotless. The decor of the room is very nice. Thank you for staying at this hotel which gives you peace of mind. Ben's homestay 🙏

I can say that the location is very close to the center, walking distance is 4-5 minutes. The operators do their best to make you feel like at home. They are very friendly and their rooms are very clean, the family-run place is very safe, especially if you have children, there are small areas in the garden where they can play safely. I am very satisfied and I definitely recommend it considering the price and performance..

A priori it was more than enough to stay. It is at the back of a complex of local people's houses, really beautiful.Ben helped me with my suitcase when I arrived and gave me the keys to the room. He seems like a very kind man.But if there is something that I don't like at all, it is that they try to make me pay for everything and they want to cajole me about their activities, taxis...etc.At least I felt like he was wondering where I was going to go after Ubud, not out of self-interest but to suggest his activities.When I asked about the Wi-Fi, I don't know if the daughter or the wife answered me rudely saying that it was on in the room (obviously not).But hey, the terrace of the room, the tranquility and price stood out.Although they should check their booking carefully and see that what they paid said BREAKFAST INCLUDED.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Ben's Homestay. Friendly accommodating family — you see that they care about their guests. The place has lots and lots of plants — you are surrounded by nature. Was recently renovated, AC was new and very decent. The shower is funky and need some learning curve to get the desired temperature but nothing tragic.Located close to the centre but actually you don't even need to visit centre — there are a bunch of restaurants and cafes nearby (Hideout Cafe, Acme, Juice Ja Cafe, Brick Warung, etc.). And rice paddy fields are 5 min away. Can't recommend enough, a true homestay.P.S. Thank you, Iputu, for driving us to the airport and rich lovely chat.

We had an incredible experience staying at Ben’s Homestay. He took us in and hosted us as if we were family. He was so generous and gave us time every night, we smoked the night away. Such a funny man. He was in a stressful time and still gave us his time, joy, and generosity. He made our stay in Indonesia so easy by helping us book further travels plans through Indonesia. I hope to come back and share another cigarette with him. Thank you Ben, we miss you.

Owner doesn’t seem to be trustable. Made us pay in cash despite having a working card machine despite knowing that we were short of cash. That smile she was carrying all the time didn’t feel very genuine.

We had a pleasant stay at Ben's place. The accommodation was very clean in a beautiful green setting and a typical setting. Our host suggested activities as well as rentals and transportation. He does everything to make your stay pleasant and takes the time to chat. The location is ideal for accessing the center of Ubud. I highly recommend.

Wonderful homestay with a sweet Balinese family. Support your locals!Large (sometimes a bit noisy) very clean rooms with a nice shower. Mosquito net over the bed and you are in the center in no time. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice place to sleep on a small budget!
